Jeremy Sauer is an Emergency Medicine Physician from Glen Allen, VA. He served as Medical Director for the VCU Transfer Center and was the Assistant Medical Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine for 4 years. During his tenure as Assistant Medical Director, Jeremy was instrumental in successfully implementing the Quality Matters throughput model which has been a huge success. He has served as a technical expert for a number of ED Re-engineering projects.

Michael Gibbons

Mike Gibbons has a long history of managing service lines including the operating room, cardiovascular services and outpatient care. He has worked in both academic and non-academic facilities to improve throughput and patient flow. He has a wealth of experience in hands-on management and team building. He is our expert on nurse management, staffing and budgeting.

Pam Turner

Pam Turner has over 20 years of extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Pam Turner has managed over two dozen successful and efficient emergency departments. She has been a Manager and Director of Emergency Departments, Air Transport and a Regional Director of a Hospice Program. She also has expertise in nurse leadership mentoring. She works with Dr. Welch on projects involving dyad leadership teams and front end ED operational improvements.

Shari Welch - President

Dr. Welch has been a healthcare quality improvement consultant for 15 years. Dr. Welch's expertise includes Comprehensive ED Operations Assessments, Improving patient flow/workflow, Improving inpatient througput and early discharge to address boarding. She has worked successfully to improve flow at academic medical centers as well as critical access hospitals.
