Adam M. Felsenstein is an experienced and savvy litigator who has represented individuals and companies in state courts throughout New York and federal courts all across the country. Alyssa C. Goldrich is an Associate in Tannenbaum Helpern's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Ari Davis is a Partner in Tannenbaum Helpern's Real Estate and Construction Law practice. Brandon Reiner is a partner in Tannenbaum Helpern's Construction & Design Law practice. Brandon focuses his practice on the representation of developers, owners, condominium and co-op boards, landlords, tenants, contractors and professionals in connection with construction projects throughout the country, including ground up developments, renovations of existing buildings, landlord or tenant build-outs, daily operations of existing buildings and renovations of residential units. In connection with this representation, Brandon regularly drafts, reviews and negotiates construction management agreements, architectural services agreements, various construction contracts and various professional services agreements, utilizing both manuscript forms and AIA documents. Since construction projects often require access to neighboring properties, Brandon counsels both project owners and adjacent owners on their rights with respect to such access, including the negotiation of license agreements. As construction projects progress, Brandon advises clients on issues that arise, such as liens and bonding, change order disputes, other contractual issues and defective work. Additionally, Brandon regularly drafts, reviews and negotiates contracts for the daily operations of buildings, including telecommunications, marketing, maintenance and software as a service. Burton K. Haimes is counsel in Tannenbaum Helpern's Corporate practice. He focuses on cross border transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of businesses and related financing, international joint ventures, licensing arrangements and commercial advice, all primarily involving French enterprises. For the past 40 years, he has played a key role in developing the global outreach of major French and other European business enterprises and in their entry and development in the U.S. market through business combinations and other corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Tannenbaum Helpern, he was a corporate partner at DLA Piper and Orrick, where he chaired the NY corporate practice at Orrick and Thelen Reid, where he chaired the Corporate Department.
A lifelong philanthropist and active member of his community, Burton has served on many non-profit organizations outside of work and was a major force behind the expansion and development of youth soccer programs in the USA:
He is a life member of the US Soccer Federation, having served 22 years on its Board of Directors, a founding member of the Federation Internationale de Football Association's (FIFA) Ethics Committee where he served seven years, and President/Chairman of the American Youth Soccer Organizations for 20 years.
Burt is the founder and Chairman Emeritus of Action Against Hunger (US) and Action Against Hunger (Canada) and is former international Chairman of the Action Contre La Faim network. Action Contre La Faim (Action Against Hunger) is a French-based, worldwide hunger relief organization with headquarters in Paris, London, Madrid, New York, and Toronto.
An active member of the French-American community, Burt served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the French-American School of New York (FASNY) in Westchester for seven years and is a member of the Board of Directors of La Maison Francaise of NYU.
Burt received the French Legion of Honor with the rank of Chevalier in December 2016 in New York conferred by the French Ambassador to the United States, Gerard Araud.

Charles Goodwin is an associate in Tannenbaum Helpern's Corporate practice group.
Prior to joining the firm, Charles was the James L. Biggane Fellow at the New York State Senate Finance Committee, where he was a member of the Tax and Revenue team. During New York's 2021-2022 Budget process, Charles provided legal and financial analysis on a number of ground-breaking legislative reforms in New York State, including the legalization of mobile sports wagering, the legalization of recreational cannabis use, and the establishment of the New York's Excluded Workers Fund.

Melissa Billig is Co-Chair of Tannenbaum Helpern's Construction & Design Practice. She represents owners, developers, architects, engineers, construction managers and contractors engaged in the design and construction process on projects in New York City and across the region. Melissa delivers a range of experience as both a results-driven litigator and a strategic counselor, adept at drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
Melissa represents clients in high-profile, multi-party contract disputes and defective design and construction claims. She has extensive experience in the resolution of construction disputes, both prior to and during litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Her transactional practice focuses on drafting and negotiation of design and construction agreements, as well as license (access) agreements.
Melissa has represented clients in conjunction with large to midsize development projects, including the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center expansion and renovation, the Governors Island Park project and The Culture Shed project at Hudson Yards. She has also represented clients in connection with certain private residential renovations.
Prior to joining Tannenbaum Helpern, Melissa was a partner with Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll Bertolotti LLP, and previously an associate at Wilson Elser. She has been consistently selected to Super Lawyers and has been awarded AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest attorney rating available. Melissa was also selected by New York Magazine as a "Top Women Leaders in the Law".
Melissa currently serves on the Diversity Committee of the Women Builders Council, Tannenbaum Helpern's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and as a mentor to numerous attorneys in the Firm and other construction industry professionals.
