Robert S. Toomey was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1947 and moved to a suburb of Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1961. While living in the Chattanooga area he attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga part time while working full time with a local police department and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice in 1982. Robert S. Toomey, Esq. After working a few years in law enforcement, Mr. Toomey left the Chattanooga area and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to further his legal education. He attended law school part time while working full time with an Atlanta area law firm to support his family. Mr. Toomey received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in 1994 and was admitted to the practice of Law later that same year. Mr. Toomey joined the law firm of Clark and Washington in Atlanta, Ga. Where he honed his skills in the area of consumer rights and bankruptcy law. After working for Clark and Washington, in 1995, he moved from Atlanta to Cartersville and started his own firm, the Law Office of Robert S. Toomey, P.C., where he has practiced for over 22 years, where he focuses his practice on Consumer Rights and Consumer Bankruptcy and helped thousands of people with their debt problems by saving their homes and cars, and to achieve a Fresh Start by filing bankruptcies on their behalf. Mr. Toomey lives in the Kennesaw, Georgia area with his wife, Cecilia, and their three dogs.
