Diana Sullivan

Diana Sullivan is our Portland business broker who joined The Quincy Group in 2010. Diana specializes in business accounting practices, business appraisals and brokering, operational and management consulting, and turn-around facilitation and planning. She has established due diligence criteria for merger and acquisition targets and is a skilled negotiator with a strong credit, treasury management, and finance background. She currently serves as Treasurer of The Beaverton Arts Foundation and Beaverton Mayor's Ball, plus volunteers with the Beaverton Arts Commission as past President. She is a graduate of The University of Portland, earning both BS and MBA degrees in Finance and Accounting.

Fred Canada

Fred Canada and wife Pat Detmer formed The Quincy Group in 2003 with a focus on providing operational advice to small businesses, primarily printers. That focus expanded to business brokering and consulting on issues related to sales, mergers, and transitioning for all small businesses. Fred's background includes a stint in the Marines, after which he became office and facilities manager for Jostens, a scholastic products manufacturer. He later instituted their national distribution network, choosing locations, installing tracking systems and training managers. He was recruited by Herff Jones, a Jostens competitor, and left Illinois for Seattle in 1980. He was Production Manager for Herff Jones/Bellevue. Fred made the leap into sales in his mid-forties, representing printing and graphics equipment for A.B. Dick. He was recognized for achieving Top 10 national ranking multiple times, twice finishing in the top five out of four hundred salespeople. He is past owner of a Seattle commercial printing company, and of a mailbox/shipping concern. Fred has served as a Volunteer Business Coach for Washington C.A.S.H. (Community Alliance For Self-Help), served on the Group Health Eastside Leader's Advisory Board, and served on and was President of the Board for Children's Home Society, South King County.

Hsiao-Wen Lin

Hsiao-Wen Lin joined The Quincy Group in 2023 and specializes in business evaluations, sales, and exit/succession planning. He also completed the Minority Business Executive Program from the University of Washington, Foster School of Business. After spending decades in the tech industry in various senior management roles, he gradually turned his interests from software development, telecommunications, and product development to business development and operation. In 2011, after extensive research and evaluation, Hsiao-Wen (pronounced chow win) bought his first company and became a small business owner. He has since acquired/merged three more businesses, selling one of them before joining The Quincy Group. He has gained extensive experience and knowledge as a buyer, seller, and operator/owner during his personal journey through the small business world, helping him to understand and appreciate the perspectives of both the buyer and the seller.

Pat Detmer

Pat received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Quincy University in Illinois and was a Toastmaster, winning regional speech contests as the only competing female. You can read more about her speaking and writing career at www.patdetmer.com.
