John Thompson is the Principal and Founder of Thompson Building Energy Solutions and has been continuous in the HVAC field since 1992 in the areas of building commissioning, energy conservation consulting, building audits, building controls and mechanical design. John Thompson Graduated with a BA in Business and has lived in Louisiana nearly his whole life. He holds certifications in Building Commissioning, Energy Management, Measurement and Verification, LEED and Sustainable Development.

Kate creates mechanical, electrical and plumbing commissioning testing forms, generates reports, estimates jobs and performs design reviews. Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020. When she is not working, Kate enjoys scrapbooking and playing board games.
Kristen Thompson is the bookkeeper for Thompson Building Energy Solutions, LLC and has been with the company since 2017. Kristen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1990. When she is not working, Kristen enjoys painting and feeding cows.
