Because we are ideally located in the middle of extensive stands of trees suitable for tonewood, we specialize in a type European spruce known as picea abies. Wood expert and forester Andrea Florinett is primarily responsible for the sourcing of our tonewood. His vast experience allows him to source spruce trees that exhibit a high degree of internal resonances - a quality that greatly influences the tone of an instrument...
