Dave joined the agency in September 2019 as an Agent and Vice President of Operations following successful tenures in the military as well as the private sector. In Denver, Dave spent three years as a commercial underwriter for a large insurance carrier before joining a private multibillion-dollar real estate, transportation, energy and investment company as a risk analyst. He now enjoys applying that experience and industry expertise while working with local businessowners and homeowners to understand their exposures and help protect assets by transferring risk through insurance.
Born and raised in Vero Beach, Dave graduated from Vero Beach Senior High School and attended West Point, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in American Politics. He later earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Colorado - Denver. He holds the Associate in General Insurance designation. During over 8 years in the US Army, Dave served in numerous leadership positions in the 75th Ranger Regiment, 4th Infantry Division and 1st Cavalry Division while deploying multiple times to Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries in the Middle East. Away from work, Dave foremost enjoys spending time with his wife Monica and their son and daughter, and is an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman.
