Tumi Sibanda has a legal background and has focused her career on labour legislation and transformation. She has worked as a consultant helping employers, in both the private and public sectors in South Africa, to implement Employment Equity, Skills Development and BBBEE legislation. Her work introduced her to the sphere of Human Capital where she focused on Organisational Development. She has facilitated workshops on Diversity & Inclusion, Change Management as well as Teambuilding sessions. She has conducted strategic planning sessions and organisational culture surveys. She peaked her career in transformation as head of Transformation for one of South Africa's corporates.
She also has in her basket of skills, 6 Sigma, a methodology used for business process improvement. She is a 6 Sigma Black Belt and leads business process improvement projects. As a Black Belt she also coaches Green Belt (junior belts) in leading business process improvement projects.
