TRENTON CORRUGATED - Key Persons

William Trent

William Trent was one of the city's primary landowners and a prominent merchant from the region. A former navy captain, serving alongside George Washington, William Trent was promoted to Major during the French and Indian War. He used his capabilities as a merchant to effectively develop trading networks with Native Americans. The Trent family coat of arms depicts crossed swords and rosettes on a red and white placard with a left-facing knight's helm above. In homage to our heritage and the namesake of Trenton, the Trent family's knight's helm proudly adorns our logo. Facing left, the helmet represents protection and the knight's symbolism reinforces our standards of reliability, diligence, and modesty.
