We have been providing power transfer solutions for over 55 years. TransTech started as a small company in Pittsburgh manufacturing brush holders for DC motors. The facility moved to the upstate of South Carolina in 1984 and we have been growing ever since. In 1995 we became part of the Fandstan Electric Group which included Brecknell-Willis (England), Stemmann-Technik (Germany), AKAPP (Netherlands), and in 2004 we acquired the Delta Star / H.K. Porter line of conductor bars. In 2014, we became part of the Wabtec family, organized underneath the Faiveley group. As part of the Wabtec Corporation, TransTech is committed to safety, customer focus, continuous improvement, teamwork, and leadership; and together with Faiveley, we can provide solutions to some of the most difficult applications... In the industrial sector, TransTech engineers and manufactures the Delta Star Conductor Bar Systems for heavy duty material handling applications in the steel industry and other heavy-duty milling..
