Turab Capital is about establishing a fund for equity investment in small and medium size agro product processing units, providing technical assistance to farmers and having crop supply chain and financing arrangements between processing units, agro microfinance institutions and small farmers. The funds are proposed to be financed through equity mobilization from national and foreign private investors with both profit and not for profit objective. As per discussion with bilateral and multilateral agencies there is high probability of mobilizing matching grants or long term fund investment from social / economic development windows of such institutions.
