Brendan Rogers is an expert Urban Planner, specialising in major project developments and redevelopments. He has more than 30 years' experience working in town planning and property for the government and private sector in Australia and the UK. Brendan is especially adept at navigating the complexities of the planning system to unlock the potential of a site and develop strategies that enhance the urban environment. He is also a skilled negotiator who has advised on compulsory acquisitions for major transport infrastructure and given expert evidence at the Victorian Supreme Court. Some of Brendan's most significant achievements include preparing the planning controls for Melbourne's 220-hectare Docklands area; facilitating the redevelopment of the 10.6-hectare Tooronga Village site, which had been undeveloped for 25 years; and leading the development approval process for the Myer Bourke Street and Emporium redevelopment in Melbourne's CBD.

He has also appeared at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Planning Panels Victoria on behalf of councils and private clients. Bret is passionate about creating new communities on Melbourne's fringes. He has helped inform the strategic planning framework for two of the largest new communities in Melbourne's north and north-west.
