Dan Chenoweth, MBA, is a Senior Consultant with Vector Group, Inc. Dan has a broad background in international business, starting with a strong foundation in finance as a CPA. He has held executive level positions in general management and finance in a number of industries including telecommunications, printing and publishing, heavy equipment manufacturing, and apparel manufacturing. Dan is a highly sought after business consultant who is a popular speaker, author, and educator. His more than 25 years of experience in executive level positions cover a wide array of industries, including telecommunications; printing and publishing; heavy equipment manufacturing; and apparel manufacturing. Dan's recent client engagements, including 3M, BMW, British Airways, Centura Health, First Data Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Home State Bank, Johns Manville, Life Care Centers of America, Lucent Technologies, and Prudential Insurance (U.K.). Dan's expertise in building relationships within teams and organizations results in innovative ways for cross-functional teams to solve problems and work together. Chenoweth has also worked with clients to dramatically improve their procurement process using a unique approach, breaking down organization barriers and establishing open communications and relationships between the company and its strategic suppliers. Chenoweth is a member of the Board of Directors of the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau (BBB). He recently was the Co-Chair of the BBB's Summit on Ethical Electronic Commerce. The Summit outlined ways for companies to be successful on the Internet by earning consumer trust and introduced a set of standards for ethical Internet business practices. Dan holds a BS in accounting from Southern Colorado State College (now Colorado State University - Pueblo) and a MBA from the University of Denver. He has been an Instructor in the Master's Program for Project Management at Denver Technical College and is currently a Post Graduate Teaching Fellow in the College of Business Distance Learning program at Colorado State University. Janet Schliefert

Janet Schliefert is a Senior Consultant with Vector Group, Inc. and a key member of our firm since 1989. Janet has over 25 years experience in training design and delivery systems, specializing in management and sales development, performance improvement interventions, and performance management systems development. She provided a range of consulting services for industries representing insurance, banking, manufacturing, financial services, airlines, and health care. Much of her work has been in the areas of quality, managing change, leadership and building effective teams. Janet has implemented a Total Quality process in two Fortune 500 manufacturing firms, an international airline and an insurance company. Throughout her career, Janet has delivered measurable results while implementing significant organizational change. She has established effective and credible HRD departments, designed performance management systems that increased alignment of organizational goals with individuals' goals, created and implemented training curriculums that achieved the targeted organizational results, and identified and coached leadership successors. Her work with the Forum Corporation began in 1984 as a client, joining Forum's Resource Network in 1990. Janet's consulting and facilitation work has included international clients as well as domestic; for example: Deloitte, British Airways, ConAgra, Prudential Retail UK, Union Pacific Railroad, Johns Manville, Farm Credit, BC/BS of NE, Swift & Co. and LandAmerica Financial Group. Her training participants range from the CEO and top Senior Managers to newly hired staff members. One of her latest projects was developing two supervisory training programs for use in US facilities as well as in the UK, Germany and Sweden. Janet has also worked extensively with 360° feedback-based leadership and sales training and coaching. An honors graduate of the University of Nebraska, Janet is a past-President of the ISPI-Front Range Chapter, served three years on the Governor-appointed Colorado State Advisory Council for Community Colleges (one year as Chair), and was Membership Chair for Denver CO ASTD Chapter. Jennifer (Rudd) Smith

Jennifer (Rudd) Smith is a Senior Consultant with Vector Group, Inc. She brings over twenty years' experience designing, developing, implementing and evaluating both sales training and technical training. She develops instructional courses and curricula that exceeds client goals and maximizes return on investment. She served as Project Manager for variety of training development; working with instructional designers and training managers to exceed expected time frames. She specializes in the needs assessment phase of a course design process. As an example, she interviewed 30+ Subject Matter Experts (SME) over six months for a US Army project. As an experienced project manager, she gathers information, works with Subject Matter Experts as well as course developers and managers. She easily assimilates data into time line software with course goals and consideration for additional constricting variables. Ms. Smith contributed her talents as an instructional designer, curriculum developer and training instructor to a number of companies over the last several years including Western Union, TIAA-CREF, Charles Schwab, Purpose Health Consulting and began a long-term relationship with Mary Kay Cosmetics as a Senior Course Developer and Facilitator. Jennifer was an active member of the local chapters of the American Society for Training and Development-Rocky Mountain Chapter and the International Society for Performance Improvement-Front Range Chapter. At ASTD-RMC she served on its Board of Directors as Secretary and while in that role, she chaired the Building Partnerships Conference in 1993. This was a joint regional conference between ASTD, ISPI, the Society for Technical Communication and other local professional societies. She also presented at several conferences for ASTD and ISPI on the topics of evaluating alternative education and coaching networking strategy. She builds rapport easily and quickly establishes trust, building rapport easily and maintaining strong relationships. She is expert at interviewing all employees from the line worker to the CEO to record accurate information that is used in the design and project management of both course and curriculum. She is known for high energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to delivery of results and exceeding organization goals.
