Christopher C. Gilbert

Christopher C. Gilbert earned his undergraduate degree in 1994 from the University of Florida, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and graduating with honors. He also received a double minor in both English and East Asian Languages. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, Mr. Gilbert spent one year employed at the Palm Beach County Public Defender's Office, providing social services and legal information to criminal defendants awaiting trial. Mr. Gilbert received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1998 from the Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown, he was a member of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. Thereafter he worked at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in its Staff Attorney's Office. He was employed at the Eleventh Circuit for more than three years and worked with all of the judges on the Court in resolving various legal issues brought on appeal.

Daniel A. Tressler, II

Daniel A. Tressler, II, after serving in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Mechanical Engineer from 1988 to 1991, attended the University of Florida, graduating with Highest Honors in 1996 with a B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Tressler continued his education at the University of Florida College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor degree with Honors in December 1998. During his tenure at UF College of Law, Mr. Tressler served on the Florida Honor Court as Chief Defense Counsel in 1997 and as Vice Chancellor in 1998. Among his many accomplishments while attending UF, Mr. Tressler was the Assistant Editor, Journal of Public Interest Environmental Conference, and served in 1997 as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Frederick Smith of the Eighth Judicial Circuit, Gainesville, Florida. In 1998, Mr. Tressler attended the Universite de Montpellier, in Montpellier, France. After graduating and receiving his Juris Doctorate degree, Mr. Tressler was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1999. He joined the Unger Law Group, P.L. in February 2003 where he brought with him medical malpractice, nursing home, & premises liability defense experience gained as an Associate with the firm of Hannah, Estes & Ingram of Orlando, Florida from 1999 to February 2003. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Bars of the U.S. District Courts, Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Scott A. Tacktill - CEO

Scott A. Tacktill received his undergraduate degree from Babson College (B.S. 1990), and his law degree and graduate business degree from the University of Florida (J.D. 1994; M.B.A. 1998). While in law school, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Journal of International Law. Initially a corporate attorney for a technology firm, in 1999 Mr. Tacktill accepted a position as Trial Court Staff Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court. In that capacity he served for nearly four years as a legal advisor to the circuit and county court judges, assisting with complex jurisdictional and evidentiary issues, as well as participating in capital case proceedings. Since joining the Unger Law Group in 2003, Mr. Tacktill's practice has included a broad spectrum of civil matters with an emphasis on construction defects, medical malpractice, nursing home and assisted living facilty litigation, products liability, and premises liability. He is a member of the Florida Bar, and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida. Mr. Tacktill is active in all phases of litigation, from the inception of cases through trial. He also has represented clients in the various state appellate courts, including oral argument in the district courts and the Supreme Court of Florida. Mr. Tacktill is a member of the faculty of Barry University School of Law, an American Bar Association accredited law school in Orlando. As an adjunct professor, he teaches a variety of courses, including those designed to provide law students with the skills they will need for effective advocacy at the trial and appellate levels.

Stacy Barclay

Stacy Barclay is a graduate of Barry University School of Law. During her time there, Ms. Barclay served as the Editor-in-Chief of Barry Law Review and President of Barry Women Lawyers Association. During her tenure as President of Barry Women Lawyers Association, the group was honored by the law school for its commitment to community service including projects with Harbor House, the American Heart Association, and Hands On Orlando. Ms. Barclay also worked as a research assistant to Dean Leticia Diaz and a teaching assistant in the Legal Research and Writing Program. Ms. Barclay grew up working on her family's farm in Indiana and then attended the University of Evansville where she majored in Interpersonal Communication. She also took a British Politics class at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England during the summer 2003 semester. Upon moving to Florida in 2005, Ms. Barclay took a job with Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund and ultimately began law school at Barry in 2006.

W. Marvin Hardy III

Marvin is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated attorney who has more than 40 years of experience in commercial litigation, civil trial practice, personal injury and wrongful death. He is also a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Marvin's work as a litigator covers a broad spectrum, ranging from cases involving contracts, construction, and labor/employment issues. One recent case, for example, involved the Fair Labor Standards Act, while another involved people having stock wrongfully canceled by a company. He has been admitted to the U. S. Supreme Court and to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. In 2006, Marvin was chosen as a Florida Super Lawyer in the field of business litigation. Outside of his legal work, Marvin has served a number of community organizations, including the Christian Service Center, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Boy Scouts of America. He has formerly served as a member of the board of directors the Committee of One Hundred of Orange County Inc., which provides assistance to families of fallen first responders.
