The MR2 in-line four cylinder to V6 "swap" has been around now for a few years. Arguably it was popularized by Brad Bedell when he earned his all out win at the Ultimate Street Car Challenge with his supercharged V6. Mr Bedell beat vehicles that cost substantially more. That to me, is the singular moment when everyone realized both how easy these swaps are and how much potential they truly have.
