When contractors and owners hire craftspeople who are members of Local 51, we make one promise: You are hiring the most highly skilled and best trained plumber, pipefitter or refrigeration expert in the business... Local 51 is a member of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada. We were formed a short time ago from the consolidation of four locals from Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
