Camilla is a self-proclaimed lifelong learner and firm believer that education is the one thing that can never be taken away. She holds an M.S. in Disaster Medicine and Management, along with the credentials CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facility Manager), CHC (Certified Healthcare Contractor), CHPEW (Certified Healthcare Physical Environment Worker), and BOC L1 & L2. An active member in the healthcare community, Camilla has held positions with the Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering (WSSHE) Puget Sound Chapter, the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Clarence's impressive career journey began in the Navy, where he honed his skills as an electrician; and later joined the building trades. One of his most recent roles was with CenTrio (formerly Enwave Seattle Steam), where he served as the General Manager, overseeing the Pacific Northwest portfolio of district energy plants. This diverse portfolio included a 640k PPH steam plant in Seattle, a 4,500-ton chiller plant in Portland, and an ambient loop wastewater heat recovery system in Denver. Clarence is a testament to the importance of continuous learning and self-improvement. He holds accolades from the University of Washington Foster School of Business's Executive Development Program, and he has completed various technical training courses at Renton Technical College and North Seattle College. Beyond his technical expertise, Clarence is renowned for his client-focused approach, strong leadership skills, and passion for helping teams grow. Among his many accomplishments, he was a subject matter expert for the development of an open-source Autodesk Fabrication COD Scripting language extension for Microsoft Visual Studio code editor. For over a decade, Young has provided the MEP contractor industry a free suite of Autodesk Fabrication Scripts to help them manage their Autodesk Fabrication configurations. He is an avid speaker at Autodesk University, MEP Force, and the Congress of the Future of Engineering Software. He is a member of the Autodesk Developer Network (ADN); Autodesk MEP Fabrication Customer Council; SMACNA Construction Technology Committee; and US National BIM (Building Information Model) Standards Committee/National Institute of Building Sciences (former).

His work at DES resulted in measures that reduced energy consumption on the Washington State Capitol Campus by over 40% (roughly $3 million). He also led DES to meet its 2030 carbon reduction goal in 2021.
