Carwyn was born and raised in Wales before moving to Canada. Driven by his passion for plants and making a difference in the environment s we all live and work in, he joined Urban Green as a partner in 2019. His design skills and eye for detail come from his previous career as a finish carpenter and cabinet maker. He has years of experience as a project and business manager for a custom home firm where he worked directly with designers and clients to help create their dream home s. With his background, Carwyn can help to design and create a finished, polished product for your living or workspace, whether that is a green wall, preserved moss project, or regular plant maintenance.
James joined Urban Green because of a desire to improve interior environments. With 7 years of outdoor landscaping experience, he is now bringing his knowledge and skills to interior spaces. James is now the owner of Urban Green with the intent of maintaining the quality and workmanship that has been developed over 30 years and expand it into new areas such as living walls. James looks forward to helping you create and maintain a healthy and beautiful interior environment!
For over 30 years Peter Tigchelaar has been cultivating workplace gardens and installations in the Hamilton area. He has carefully developed a client base that includes a wide spectrum of businesses: financial, industrial and legal businesses, car showrooms, dentist's offices, call centres, government offices, private residences, hospitality establishments, private schools and public libraries. Peter's expertise in the area of plant care is unparalleled, as is his eye for design and the correct choice of foliage for any location. He is also a firm believer in the health benefits of plants in the workplace. Peter has now passed over the reins of the company to James, but remains as a special consultant.
