The company was started over thirty years ago to lower the cost of imaging service to local hospitals. Since then, the company has grown in size and scope and has become the largest independent imaging and biomedical service provider in the region. We currently service imaging, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, biomedical equipment, processors, and sterilizers. UMS provides resident in-house, contract and hourly service to our hospital, imaging center, clinic and office based customers... - In 1996, UMS began its biomedical division which now provides clinical engineering services to hospitals and clinics throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, New York and Maryland.
