Exporting to Japan, designing and making for Australian embassies, five star hotels, major architects and the consultant for the supply of ecologically sustainable timbers for the Olympic Athletes village, up to 9 employees and timber drying kilns to ensure timber quality, I thought the only way forwards was upwards. Sadly, not to be... Steel and aluminium are both metals - but they are very different in weight and hardness so we design and use them in different manners.
