Our mission is to plan, develop and manage water and wastewater services in the interest of its members, using consensus based strategies that are environmentally and economically sound... Upper Trinity was created by the State of Texas as a conservation and reclamation district in 1989. We are a regional, non-profit government agency authorized to provide water, wastewater, solid waste and storm water (watershed protection) services on a wholesale basis in the Denton County area. Our revenue is derived from the services we provide rather than any power of taxation. We were organized by the cities and utilities we serve, and designed to be progressive, responsive and competitive... we provide towns, cities and utilities in North Texas with essential water, wastewater and waste disposal services.
