Amy Ritter

Amy has been conducting hydrologic and water quality investigations with a focus on water quality modeling for over 20 years. She has managed numerous exposure assessment studies for non-point source water quality issues has pioneered procedures for conducting probabilistic risk assessments and for simulating pesticide fate and transport associated with rice agriculture in the United States, Europe, Japan, and China and with banana agriculture in Costa Rica. Additionally, she has developed multiple crop/soil/weather scenarios for many countries such as Brazil, Vietnam, and Philippines.

Dr. Scott Dyer

Dr. Scott Dyer joined the Waterborne team in 2018 as a Senior Scientific Advisor following an extensive career with The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). He brings an impressive depth and scope of work in environmental research and development, as well as industry and regulatory experience. Scott also embarked on a professorship at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, and leverages his considerable background to enhance Waterborne's ecological risk assessment capabilities.

Jennifer Trask

Jennifer has worked in the areas of water resources and environmental consulting and research for nine years with project experience in the areas of hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, pesticide and microbial transport, watershed and biological modeling, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), database systems and management, conservation practices, and instrumentation. She has provided services to local, state, and federal agencies throughout the United States in the areas of water resources and watershed management as well as served clients in the private sector.

Marty Williams - Founder

As a founding partner and water resources engineer, Marty is highly involved in strategic planning, company infrastructure, marketing, technical advisory, project management, and importantly, the preservation of our Vision Statement. He is also recognized among his peers for his creative leadership, mentoring of young scientists and engineers and continuing contributions to our industry.

Nathan Snyder

Nathan has 30 years of experience in environmental quality investigations including chemical fate and transport modeling, geographical information systems (GIS) and information processing, and field study design and instrumentation. He has assisted in the design, instrumentation, execution, and interpretation of small-scale prospective ground-water studies (PGW) and test-plot and field-scale runoff studies as well as instrumentation design for watershed scale surface water monitoring.

Paul Barboza - CEO

As Chief Executive Officer, Paul oversees Waterborne's United States-based offices and our leadership team. His unique mix of technical and business backgrounds make him the perfect person to lead Waterborne through any changes within the marketplace and as we expand and grow to best assist our clients around the world. Paul Barboza became the CEO at Waterborne Environmental, Inc. in August 2021. He focuses on having a positive impact on people, providing solutions to customers, and creating value for stakeholders. He has spent his career delivering solutions enabling clients to accomplish their mission more efficiently and effectively. Paul's experience includes leading business operations, P&L, business development (BD), corporate IT, Quality, facilities, and Security. He is a seasoned industry professional with a proven track record of growing businesses in professional services and information technology (IT) across a broad client base to include Federal and Defense agencies as well as commercial businesses. He is a collaborative leader that develops and maintains high performing teams with strong interpersonal relationships resulting in above average employee retention rates. He graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a Master's in Business Administration and also has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He holds several certifications including a Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is active in industry groups supporting this market. He and Waterborne support a number of community causes and activities. He is married and was a long-time certified travel soccer coach for each of his three kids.
