The Animal Emergency Hospital was initially formed in 1996 by a dedicated group of local veterinarians and has been serving the Athens Metro Area for over 25 years. Since taking over operation of the facility in 2012, we have strived to provide exceptional care for our clients and patients. The Animal Emergency Hospital has collectively cared for thousands of patients since its inception. We are grateful you trusted us with your beloved family member, and we cherish the relationships we have made along the way... Due to a persistent national shortage of emergency veterinarians, we have made the extremely difficult decision to close the emergency hospital and will no longer be providing after-hours veterinary care.
