Andres Camacho

Andres was born in Bogota and raised in Miami. After graduating from the University of Florida, he attended the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he received his Master of Architecture. Andres' career has been shaped by the diverse environments, cultures, and methods of making he has been immersed in while working for notable firms in Zurich, Mexico City, Miami, Seattle, and Los Angeles. Previously a woodshop instructor and CNC technician, Andres has a knack for fabrication and can often be found contemplating objects. Andres teaches design studios in the college of architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology. Education Harvard Graduate School of Design Outside of work, Andres enjoys watching premier league and gator football, running, reading poetry, and trying every meal Chicago has to offer.

Chip von Weise

Chip started von Weise Associates in 1999. Prior to von Weise Associates, Chip was a founding principal at von Weise, Petrie, Ronan Architects and before that a project manager at Booth/Hansen and Associates, all in Chicago. His project experience is varied and includes many project types and scales from single family residences to hotels, corporate interiors, schools, restaurants and office buildings. Chip hosts a Chicago residency program for 4th year Virginia Tech architecture students which combines the intellectual rigor of the academic studio with lessons and experiences from everyday practice. Each semester, fourteen students participate in an integrated design studio, a building technology seminar, and a professional practice course. Chip participated as a mentor and host firm from the inception of Chicago Studio in 2006 and has directed the program since 2015. Being actively involved in the community, Chip is a member of the American Institute of Architects Chicago chapter, the Francis Parker School Board of Trustees, the Racquet Club of Chicago Facilities Committee, and Saint Chrysostom's Church Facilities Committee. Christopher Wolf

Christopher Wolf is a licensed architect, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, and Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His early student work focused on his interest in materiality and detail, while his graduate work expanded his knowledge of urban and social issues. Education University of Illinois at Chicago Chris is a proud father of one and enjoys travel, exploring new cuisine, and kicking back. Recently he has begun to learn the piano, to accompany his daughter on violin and wife on guitar.

Karla Uyehara

Over the course of her career, Karla's work has ranged from the 217,000 square foot Atlantic Health Jets Training Facility to her 1,100 square foot Chicago home. She worked at SOM, taught a summer design program at Parsons, and designed and built a space in Manhattan which was published in Metropolis Magazine. With the idea that architecture is a means of connecting people to each other as much as to their environment, she strives to build good relationships with clients, consultants and contractors. Natalie Pastor

Natalie is the office administrator at von Weise Associates.
