April Wadsworth

April joined our team in 2013. She previously worked in a corporate setting and she looks forward to bringing the skills she acquired over those 12 years to the family business. She also handles administrative duties, website management, and coordinating events. April is an avid reader, loves to cook and spending time with family and friends. April and her husband Nathan have two young children and reside near the family farm in Hiram, Maine

Caleb Winslow

Job Titles:
  • VP of Operations, Licensed Professional Forester in Maine & New Hampshire
Caleb joined Wadsworth Woodlands in 2017 after graduating from the University of Maine-Orono in 2017 with a BS in Forestry. Prior to joining our team full time Caleb interned with us during his school breaks throughout 2016 and 2017. These internships included assisting in overseeing timber harvests, marking boundary lines, map making and becoming acquainted with clients. Caleb comes from a family tradition of forestry and that history transcends to his love for the great outdoors. Caleb is a proud husband to an elementary school teacher, and he and his wife welcomed their first child into the world in 2022. When Caleb isn't spending time with his wife and daughter, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and following along with the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins.

Jason Hilton

Jason joined Wadsworth Woodlands, Inc. in May of 2020 after graduating from the University of Maine-Orono with a B.S in Forestry. While in school he worked in the University forest trimming brush, marking timber and helping with the maple syrup production. He enjoys working on his farm and managing his personal woodlot. He has a family heritage of working in the woods and loves to be outdoors and in nature. In his free time he likes to camp with wife as well as hunt, fish and snowmobile.

John A. Wadsworth

Job Titles:
  • Licensed Professional Forester in Maine & New Hampshire
Jack has been practicing forestry since he graduated from the University of Maine Forestry School in 1971 with a BS in Forest Management. He worked for Scott Paper in Westbrook, Maine before he and his wife, Elizabeth, established Wadsworth Woodlands, Inc. in 1994. He is also very involved with The Fryeburg Fair - Maine's Blue Ribbon Classic as he is the town of Hiram Trustee to The Fair as well as being the Vice President of the Fryeburg Fair. In his free time Jack enjoys being on his farm working on various projects, and spending time with family and friends.

Kevin Frankhauser

Kevin joined Wadsworth Woodlands in 2019, after graduating from the University of Maine - Orono with a BS in forestry. Throughout his time at university, he worked in northern Maine for an industrial forestry company, where he spent time conducting timber cruises and laying out harvest blocks. Kevin has also spent several years working on a dairy farm. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and boating.

Nathan J. Wadsworth

Nate Wadsworth joined Wadsworth Woodlands in 2004 after receiving a BS in Economics and a minor in Agricultural Business from Montana State University. His duties include day to day management of Wadsworth Woodlands, Inc, which includes land sale and purchases. Nate moved back to Maine after college to become part of the family business and to set down roots in his home town of Hiram. He resides in Hiram, Maine with his wife April, and their two children.
