Over 30 years ago, a modest familyrun gelato shop appeared on the Vancouver food scene. Starting with 12 flavours, La Casa Gelato grew in response to customer requests and now boasts over 518 flavours, 218 of which are on site at all times. One of the highlights of the La Casa gelato experience is their delicious, fresh waffle cone. At one point the demand was so great, no grilling machine on the market could keep up - cones were burning, coming out lopsided or couldn't be made fast enough - resulting in substantial waste. So, once again, the family responded - they designed their own machine. Using their expertise and experience, combined with the latest in technology, performance, and design, the Viva Grill was born. The new grill is incomparable; not only does it consistently accommodate a high volume of cone sales, it grills to perfection every time.
