Adam W. Evans

Adam Wesley Evans received a B.F.A. in Computer Art, 3-D Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2003. He received his law degree from the Birmingham School of Law in 2014. He is currently admitted to practice in the State of Alabama and before the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Alabama and is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association. Adam began his career in solo practice before joining Weaver Tidmore in 2015. His practice is focused on Personal Injury, Trucking Accidents, Auto Accidents, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Wrongful Death, Worker's Compensation, Retaliatory Discharge, and Social Security Disability. In pursuing justice for his clients, he has obtained significant awards over his career. David Madison Tidmore

David Madison Tidmore received a B.S. in Human Resources Management from the University of Alabama in 1978 and an MBA from Samford University in 1983. He received his law degree from Birmingham School of Law in 1988. He is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Alabama and before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama. Mr. Tidmore brings a unique perspective to litigation, having served as a human resources and manufacturing executive for several years prior to entering the practice of law. He was also a special studies instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham lecturing in employment law, including workplace discrimination, injury and wrongful termination. Mr. Tidmore concentrates his practice in the areas of wrongful death, motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, product liability, pharmaceutical drug litigation, and employment law, specifically workplace injury, workers' compensation, and retaliatory discharge. He is also co-author of a book titled Personal Injury Law: An Overview for Alabama Accident Victims which was published in 2010. In 2023, Mr. Tidmore was identified by The National Trail Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers and as one of the Top 25 Workers' Compensation Lawyers in the State of Alabama. In 2011 Mr. Tidmore was selected for inclusion on the Alabama Super Lawyers list published in Alabama Super Lawyers magazine and Business Alabama. Only the top five percent of Alabama attorneys are chosen for this recognition each year. Recent large jury verdicts and settlements include cases involving death or serious injury due to motor vehicles accidents. Mr. Tidmore has also successfully litigated numerous large workers' compensation cases and retaliatory discharge cases where injured employees were fired after they filed for workers' compensation benefits to which they were legally entitled. Mr. Tidmore is a member of the Alabama, Shelby County and Birmingham Bar Associations, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Dennis "Rusty" Weaver

Rusty Weaver graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1992 where he was inducted into the Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi. Mr. Weaver received his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1995. Mr. Weaver focuses his practice on pharmaceutical drug litigation, environmental litigation, nursing home abuse, motor vehicle accidents and fraud. He has litigated cases involving defectively designed vehicles, including lift buckets, car haulers and passenger cars. His litigation experience also includes cases involving the violation of constitutionally protected rights by municipal employees and claims against entities that negligently design and construct roadways. Mr. Weaver recently served as co-lead counsel in the successful resolution of the largest financial elder abuse case in the history of the State of Alabama. Mr. Weaver has been a dedicated advocate of victim's rights and has had several published opinions relating to victim's rights law and government liability. He is also a charter member of the National Crime Victim Bar Association. In 2003, Mr. Weaver received the Frank Carrington Champion of Civil Justice Award recognizing extraordinary efforts in seeking civil justice for victims of crime. In 2005 he was voted "Best of the Bar" for his work in the field of crime victims' rights by his fellow lawyers. This award was sponsored by the Birmingham Business Journal and published in the September 2, 2005 edition. In 2021, 2022 and 2023 Mr. Weaver was selected to Super Lawyers Mid-South, a peer reviewed recognition reserved for the top 5% of practicing attorneys in the Mid-South Region. In 2011 and 2012 Mr. Weaver was selected for inclusion on the Alabama Super Lawyers list published by Alabama Super Lawyers magazine and Business Alabama. Only the top 5% of Alabama attorneys are chosen for this recognition each year. From 2010-2012 Mr. Weaver was named as one of "The City's Top Legal Minds" by B-Metro Magazine and honored as one of Alabama's Rising Stars by Super Lawyers 2010 and Business Alabama magazine. He is also co-author of a book titled Personal Injury Law: An Overview for Alabama Accident Victims which was published in 2010. Most recently he was selected for membership in The National Trial Lawyers - Top 100 Trial Lawyers. The partners in Weaver Tidmore, L.L.C. are members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum recognizing attorneys who have won million and multimillion dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. Mr. Weaver has had numerous settlements or verdicts in excess of one million dollars including a recent 9.3 million dollar verdict in a wrongful death suit in Baldwin County, Alabama. Mr. Weaver is currently licensed to practice law in the States of Alabama, Minnesota, Mississippi and West Virginia. He is also admitted to practice before the federal courts of Alabama, Minnesota, Mississippi, West Virginia, Wyoming and the Southern District of New York. In 2016 Mr. Weaver was elected to the City Council for Vestavia Hills, Alabama, and has served as Mayor Pro-tempore since that time. He has also served as a member of the Vestavia Hills Planning and Zoning Commission since 2016. In addition to his municipal work, Mr. Weaver serves on multiple volunteer boards and fundraising committees for Vestavia Hills City Schools. He is a supporter of the Chris Hammond Youth Foundation and has been a sponsor for the Leukemia Society of America Team in Training.

George M. Vaughn

George M. Vaughn graduated from Mississippi State University in 1981 and earned his Masters in Business Administration there the following year. Mr. Vaughn graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1989. He is currently admitted to practice law in the States of Alabama and Mississippi. Mr. Vaughn serves on the Moot Court Board and is a member of the American Journal of Tax Policy.
