Originally located in Toronto, Wall Translation Services was founded by Betty Wall in Toronto in 1992. After obtaining her B.A. and M.A. in German Languages and Literatures from the Universities of Manitoba and Toronto, Betty Wall honed her business skills first as an Executive Assistant and later as International Business Coordinator for companies like Magna International Inc. Ms. Wall then decided to strike out on her own. Her initial purpose was to provide German/English translation services to the automotive industry, but the business grew and simultaneous interpretation services were added to the mix in 1993.
