As Project Acquisition Manager, Brandon Bradley oversees bidding on all potential Utilities projects. He also coordinates RFQs for all our facilities.
Bradley joined V&S Schuler Engineering as the company's Lead Estimator in 2016 after graduating from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and then gaining experience at several co-op programs.
While his official title was Lead Estimator, Bradley took on the additional responsibilities of project management, scheduling, and customer service, leading to his promotion to Project Acquisition Manager in 2023.
Previously, he was a Field Engineer at Ulliman Schutte Construction and a Design Engineer at Michael Baker International.

Packaging Manager David Rose has more than thirty years of industry experience working with substation and transmission line projects. Since joining V&S Schuler Packaging in 2009, his skillset and wealth of knowledge were pivotal in making us a leader in the industry. He started out as a substation designer at First Energy and has held positions as a project estimator, designer and project manager.

V&S Schuler Engineering Operations Manager George Cook started on our shop floor in Canton, Ohio, as a fitter and welder in 1989, a few months after the Charles E. Schuler Company moved operations from Newark, Ohio, to Canton, Ohio.
Gaining valuable skills in blueprint reading from his time on the floor, Cook started programming CNC machines and eventually produced fabrication drawings in the detailing department. Cook took over as Quality Control Manager in 1991, the same year Voigt & Schweitzer purchased the company and expanded it as V&S Schuler Engineering, Inc. He was instrumental in V&S Schuler obtaining AISC certification.
V&S Schuler Vice President Greg Shaheen promoted Cook to Plant Manager of our Canton facility in 1995. In that role, Cook earned his CWI certificate and spearheaded several largescale capital improvement projects. In addition, he implemented new safety programs and Schuler gained ISO certification.
In 2010, Cook moved into the role of Operations Manager of our Canton facility. He oversees all facets of the business unit and handles sales. With more than thirty years at V&S Schuler, Cook has gained a wealth of knowledge from his various roles.

Purchasing Agent Maura Cogan is responsible for selecting the most suitable suppliers for all our companies based on reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency. She reviews material to ensure quality, manage inventory, and keep updated records.
Cogan, who graduated from The Ohio State University in 2012, came to V&S Schuler in 2021 from Bilfinger, Inc., an international industrial services provider based in Houston.
She started at the company as a Buyer in 2013 and received a promotion to Corporate Buyer in 2015. She was the procurement lead on the implementation of a multimillion-dollar new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. In that role, she created procedures for the system and trained more than 100 colleagues on the process, policies, and system.

As Operations Manager at V&S Schuler Tubular, Ray Murphy oversees all aspects of production at our 100,000-square foot facility in Muskogee, Okla. Previously, Murphy was Safety Manager and Quality Assurance at Tubular from 2005 to 2012, when he took the position of Quality Manager/Safety Coordinator at Aether DBS in Tulsa, Okla.
During his first stint at Schuler, Murphy inspected all facets of manufacturing - from raw materials to finished product - and served as a go-between for engineers and production workers. At DBS, he restructured the company's quality system, revamped standard operating procedures and overhauled the company safety manual.

Steve Mikolsky, Operations Manager of V&S Schuler Engineering's facility in Burton, Ohio, has nearly 20 years of experience in engineering, construction and fabrication projects.
He came to V&S Schuler in 2022 from Nova Structural Steel in Cleveland, where he was an Estimator and Project Mgr. for several years.
Prior to that position, Mikolsky was a Railroad Steel Fabrication Estimator / Project Manager at Vossloh North American - Cleveland Track Material. He also has experience as a Sales Representative at several companies.
From 1997 - 2006, Mikolsky owned and operated a supermarket in Chardon, Ohio. He then owned a convenience store in Concord, Ohio, from 2008-2013. He holds a Civil/Structural Design degree from Cuyahoga Community College.

Tom DeWitte handles project estimating, project management and assists our detailing group with electrical layout drawings. A 2006 graduate of Cleveland State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, DeWitte joined V&S Schuler in 2010. Previously, he worked as a design engineer for Thomas & Betts in Cleveland, Ohio.
