WDF - Key Persons
Andrea commenced her accounting career in Sydney with ten years spent working with Ernst and Young. She joined WDF when she returned to Wagga in 2005.
Andrea brings a keen interest in working with clients to help them improve their business and personal situation. She enjoys the challenge of working with a range of different individuals and businesses.
Being an excellent accountant is fundamental to Andrea. The extra value she creates for clients goes beyond this to supporting clients through the challenges that arise. Being accessible and available are also very important to Andrea.
Within WDF, Andrea is the Director responsible for human resources. She loves developing the internal support network as part of this role.
Andrea enjoys contributing to improve the facilities and services within our community and support those in need. She is a Director of Opening Doors Foundation Ltd and has served on other Boards in the past.
Andrea enjoys spending time with family and friends. She regularly competes with her own show horses. She loves going to the races anywhere, from Wagga Wagga to Sydney and Melbourne.
Austin commenced with WDF in 2022. Austin has experience in business services and is currently working within our self-managed superannuation team.
Recognising that no one client is the same as another, Austin enjoys the variety that accounting brings. He loves tackling problems, solving issues and helping clients learn so that there will be improvement going forward.
At WDF, Austin enjoys the continuous learning while being surrounded by friendly and supportive colleagues. He is currently studying for his CPA.
Outside of work, Austin can be found at the gym in early hours of the morning. He enjoys travelling, reading, spending time with friends and video games.
Born and raised in Wagga Wagga Belinda attended Charles Sturt University where she completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting). Belinda furthered her studies by completing the CPA Program in 2003.
Belinda joined WDF in 2000 bringing a broad knowledge of accounting skills to the firm. Belinda provides taxation services to a range of clients.
Belinda spends her spare time with her family, enjoying everything from family trips away to just staying at home spending the weekends together.
Brooke has been part of the WDF team since 2000 when she commenced as a cadet accountant.
Brooke has extensive experience in complex tax compliance and business advisory with a comprehensive understanding of small business. Brooke enjoys working closely with a diverse client base, including foreign investment groups. She works diligently with clients to assist in the achievement of their goals.
Highly regarded for her technical knowledge and attention to detail, Brooke provides a high standard of service to her clients. She is a skilled communicator with an ability to convey complex matters in a practical, easy to understand way.
Brooke describes one of her favourite aspects of working at WDF as being able to build and maintain strong working relationships with her clients and colleagues.
Away from the office Brooke enjoys playing the piano and spending time outdoors. She loves exploring different places and opportunities to travel.
Charles brings over 10 years public practice experience to our clients. Working across a diverse range of businesses, he enjoys forming a strong relationship with clients.
Charles harnesses his accounting knowledge and passion for IT to transform client's software systems and procedures. This allows clients to save time, improve accuracy, and have data readily available for proactive management decisions.
While Charles works with all industries, he has a particular interest working with millennials and trades. He enjoys seeing clients grow their business. He says, "it's phenomenal to see the advice we give result in tangible outcomes and quality of life for our clients and their families".
Originally from Tumut, Charles moved to Wagga to finish his studies. He joined WDF in 2013 and became a Director in 2019.
Charles believes in the importance of community. He is treasurer for Wagga Wagga Business Chamber, as well as the Wagga Wagga Community Blitz Inc. Two organisations that he is proud to be a part of.
In his spare time Charles enjoys eating out with his wife Jess, meeting new people, playing golf, monitoring the stock market and following the NBA.
Christina commenced at WDF in 2003 as a Cadet Accountant, progressing through to her current role as Associate.
Getting to know her clients and their business is central to Christina's approach. She enjoys helping clients get the most out of technology so that they can spend more time on what they enjoy.
Christina's knowledge of IT extends to her contribution internally within WDF. She is very involved in the development of internal procedures and processes, especially in the introduction of new software and training staff.
Christina loves spending time with her husband and two young children. She is a proud member of the Estella community and enjoys being a voice within the community. She is currently the Treasurer for the Estella Progress Association and has been part of the Project Reference Group as the community representative for the development of the new Estella Public School. She is very excited to see the school up and running and she continues to serve as a founding member of the P&C Association.
Emma attended Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga where she completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) with a joint study in Finance. Emma furthered her studies by completing a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2008 and the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) program in 2014.
Emma has invaluable experience in the area of business sales, financial reports, complex activity statements and tax returns for clients from a diverse range of industries.
Emma enjoys playing sports as well as shopping and spending time with her family.
Janita's accountant career commenced with a cadetship. After some time travelling overseas, Janita joined WDF in 2019 on her return to Wagga.
Janita supports a variety of industries and business structures. She aims to simplify matters for the client, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their situation and can get the most benefit from it.
Janita loves learning about a client's business, how they want to grow and assisting them to realise their objectives. She helps ensure the most effective systems and processes are in place to facilitate achieving goals and growth for her clients. Janita enjoys the challenge of problem solving and working out the best solution for the client.
When not at work, Janita likes to travel and explore new places. She is often out enjoying the outdoors - hiking, biking or camping. She particularly loves snow skiing adventures.
Katy began her accounting career as a cadet with WDF in 2012. She completed her degree whilst working and completed her studies to be a Certified Practicing Accountant in 2021.
Katy works across all aspects of a range of small businesses. She likes to understand her clients' businesses, their needs and objectives and assisting them to make their goals become a reality. Katy particularly enjoys helping her clients implement software solutions to make their work more streamlined.
According to Katy, one of the best things about working at WDF is working with a great team who collectively work together to assist our clients in achieving their goals.
Away from work, Katy loves being in the great outdoors. You're likely to find her horse riding or water skiing.
Originally from Deniliquin, Lauren attended high school in Wagga Wagga. Lauren joined WDF in 2003 before completing a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) with a joint study in Human Resources at Charles Sturt University.
Lauren works on a part time basis and is responsible for preparing financial reports, activity statements and tax returns.
Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and playing netball.
Lauren joined WDF in 2007, straight out of High School and into the cadetship program where she simultaneously completed her accounting studies at University.
Lauren works with a variety of small businesses with the majority being in the Agricultural industry. She assists clients with all aspects of compliance and gets a great deal of pleasure from alleviating stress for them.
Providing the best possible service and caring for her clients is what drives Lauren. She really enjoys working with small business, getting to know the client and their family. She says one of the best things about WDF is our excellent team!
Lauren is also kept busy with her young family. She enjoys cooking, reading and gardening.
Leanne joined the WDF team in 2017. Leanne has a detailed understanding of small business having been Office Manager at Big Springs Riverina for over seven years.
Leanne is friendly and approachable, making her an excellent bookkeeper for our clients. She has a practical approach and thrives at problem solving on behalf of the client. She gets a real kick out of the appreciation that comes from the clients she works with.
When not at work, Leanne enjoys reading fiction, preferably with a bit of Australian history as part of the story. She loves camping by the river, exploring the high country and sitting around a fire telling stories - now doesn't that sound like a scene from some great Australian stories!
Lucy grew up on a farm in Jugiong and moved to Wagga when she completed high school. Lucy joined the WDF team when she was nearing completion of her university studies in early 2015. She went on to complete the Chartered Accountants program in June 2019.
Lucy works across a broad range of industries which has given her a sound understanding of how different businesses operate.
Finding solutions so that clients can achieve their goals is something Lucy really enjoys about her work. She considers herself quite detail oriented which ensures a precision and steadiness that is so important in accountancy.
On the weekends Lucy loves to get out and about. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, as well as water skiing and snow skiing.

Originally from a mixed enterprise property at Corobimilla and with experience working within the family farming business, Sarah is passionate about the agricultural industry. Sarah completed work placement with WDF during her University studies in 2018. She became a permanent member of our team in 2019.
Sarah is one of our self-managed superannuation fund specialists. She enjoys learning about clients, particularly getting to know the people behind the numbers to better position clients to achieve their goals.
Sarah's motto is to pursue excellence in her work. As an accountant she loves the technical challenge of researching issues and constantly acquiring new knowledge and skills to ensure our clients are always receiving the best service. Being part of a client focused, driven team is one of her favourite things about working at WDF.
Outside of work, Sarah can be found spending time outdoors with her husband and three young children. She loves kayaking, mountain bike riding, spending time with family and friends and being involved with her local church.
Sarah commenced with WDF in early 2021. Prior to joining our team, Sarah worked at Proway Livestock Equipment primarily as Assistant Accountant and she also spent some time as HR and Office Manager.
During her career, Sarah has developed a firm understanding of accounting from ‘inside the business'. She works with a diverse range of businesses and individuals and wants to assist clients to achieve their goals.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys travelling throughout Australia and the world. Fitness and creating healthy meals are important parts of Sarah's life as is socialising with friends and family.
Steven worked at an accounting firm in Griffith prior to moving to Wagga to complete his studies. He has been with WDF since late 2016.
Steven enjoys working directly with clients to assist them in improving business processes to make a tangible difference. He knows that using and understanding good business software will enable clients to get better insight into their business performance and it can save time. Steven feels very rewarded when a client can stop worrying about the books and focus on what makes a positive impact in their life.
With a degree in information technology as well as accounting, it is no surprise that Steven is very data driven and a natural problem solver. He is very curious and likes to know how things tick. This helps to achieve the best positive outcome for his clients.
Away from work Steven enjoys hockey and has been treasurer for his hockey club in the past. His keen interest in IT has developed from a young age. He enjoys building computers and websites. During summer Steven can be found nurturing the best-lawn-in-Wagga and playing sport in the cooler months.
Teresa commenced with WDF as a Bookkeeper in January 2024.
Vicky brings over 30 years experience in public practice accounting. Vicky started her accounting career with a local accounting firm in 1990. She joined WDF in 2008.
Vicky's expertise is across all areas of taxation and business services. She is a self managed superannuation fund specialist advisor. Maintaining high professional standards and strong technical knowledge is essential to Vicky.
With diverse experience across a range of industries, Vicky works with businesses of all sizes and stages. Her dedication to clients is evident by her genuine interest and care professionally and personally.
Vicky enjoys building relationships with her clients. Her greatest satisfaction comes from helping clients achieve positive changes and outcomes to grow and succeed in their business and retirement. She is known for her commitment and attention to detail.
Outside of the office, Vicky enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves travelling and exploring destinations in Australia and abroad.
Joining WDF in 2017, Yana has 10 years experience in public accounting practices. After graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Banking) she then completed the CA program and was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2014.
Yana is able to assist clients with business advice as well as complex accounting and taxation services. She enjoys helping her clients to minimise the administrative burden of running a business through implementing time saving solutions to everyday problems.
In her free time, Yana enjoys training for Ballroom and Latin dance competitions, spending time with family and travelling. She is also a passionate member of Women in Business Wagga and has been a board member of the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber.
