Adam Cohen

Mr. Cohen graduated from Northwestern University with a BA and has an MBA from Babson College's F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. He is an experienced merger & acquisition professional who has worked for The Walden Group, MMG Advisors, and Mentor Capital Advisors, a private equity firm.

Carmen Mazzatta

Carmen Mazzatta was the General Manager of several prominent healthcare companies, including Express Scripts and inVentiV Health. Mr. Mazzatta led product management, operations and innovation functions of Cardinal Health, Thompson Reuters and the Swatch Group, as well as led strategy, operations and integration projects for BSN Medical. He was a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force, is a graduate of Loyola University's MBA program and holds BSEE from Wilkes University.

James A. Walden

Earlier in his career, he was associated with Phillips Appel & Walden Inc. for more than 24 years, beginning as a registered representative and eventually becoming the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. During his tenure there, Mr. Walden expanded the firm from six employees to over 1,000 employees in six separate offices, making the firm the largest non-clearing member firm of the New York Stock Exchange. At various times, Mr. Walden headed the underwriting department, which brought more than 40 companies public; the syndications department which organized the firm's participation in thousands of underwritings; and the retail brokerage department which grew under his direction from 10 salespeople to more than 600. Merle Symes

Mr. Symes is the former President and CEO of the U.S. division of Ulrich Medical, a German maker of spine, radiology and other surgical products where he grew the company 60% in three years. Prior to that he served in senior positions at Bausch & Lomb, Wyeth, Monsanto and DuPont. Mr. Symes is an expert in technology management, new product development, market positioning, acquisition planning, merger integration and turnarounds, among other critical functions. He has worked with management teams from Fortune 500 companies to startups in developing a culture of innovation, entrepreneurialism and risk management. He has a Wharton MBA and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.

Richard S. Cohen - President

He is an expert on healthcare industry dynamics, corporate valuation matters, and complex transactions and corporate growth strategies. Richard began his career as a corporate and securities attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a prominent law firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions. He then was associated with a private corporate acquisitions firm, where he was a senior officer. He has been an officer and director of several public and private companies. As president, he led a manufacturer of security devices and has been associated with medical companies for decades. He has a B.A. degree from Cornell University, a J.D. degree from The New York University School of Law, where he was an editor of the law review, and attended the Leonard M. Stern Graduate School of Business, New York University. He is also the author of The Smooth River: Finding Inspiration and Exquisite Beauty during Terminal Illness. Lessons from the Front Line, a first-hand, inspirational case study of terminal illness designed to help others manage complex medical and other circumstances.
