Brian E. Qualls

Attorney Brian E. Qualls is our newest addition to our firm. He has been practicing estate planning law for over a decade. He received much of his initial training from the founder of WealthPLAN, Francis Doyle, and went on to work with a couple of mid-sized law firms before ultimately starting his own practice. Over the years, he maintained a relationship with WealthPLAN, which included a referral relationship as well as an Of Counsel relationship. Brian has a passion for family wealth transfer that is reflected in his attentiveness to clients and their unique needs, as well as the prompt and thorough service he provides to address those needs. His clients consistently comment on his ability to make the estate planning process "easy", and appreciate his use of "plain English" to explain estate planning options and concepts. He graduated law school with distinction on an academic awards scholarship from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2004. Brian was also the outstanding graduate and Dean's medal candidate for the Department of Economics at California State University, Fresno in 2001. Francis Burton Doyle

Frank is a Professor of Law at Lincoln University School of Law where he teaches Wills and Trusts. Frank was named Professor of the Year for the 2004-2005 Academic Year. He is a frequent lecturer for the California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), National Business Institute (NBI) and Lorman Educational Seminars as well as other continuing professional educational organizations. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council and a member of the Executive Board of the Silicon Valley Bar Association. In addition Frank has recently received a Martindale-Hubbell ® rating of AV ®, which is the highest rating a lawyer can receive. Frank Doyle received his J. D. degree from the University of San Francisco Law School, his M. S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and his B. A. degree from Santa Clara University. Prior to founding WealthPLAN, PC in 1996, Mr. Doyle was a shareholder at a large San Jose law firm where he specialized in tax and estate planning, trust administration and trust litigation. John F. Doyle

John F. Doyle, as the Principal of WealthPLAN, PC, offers estate planning, trust administration, and estate and trust litigation services in Santa Clara County and surrounding areas. Mr. Doyle brings over 10 years of litigation experience to the firm as well. Prior to joining WealthPLAN, Mr. Doyle worked at a mid-sized litigation firm in Sacramento. Mr. Doyle earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2009 and his undergraduate from Loyola Marymount University in 2003. Before attending McGeorge School of Law, Mr. Doyle worked as a fund accountant for a custodial bank. Mr. Doyle has experience preparing various estate planning and documents including wills, powers of attorney for property, health care directives, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, gifting programs and family partnerships. Mr. Doyle's practice also includes representing both trustees and beneficiaries in trust disputes, including claims of breach of fiduciary duty, removal petitions, and accounting actions. Mr. Doyle is active in the legal community and is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the Silicon Valley Bar Association. He is also on the Estate Planning Council and the Kasner Symposium Planning committee at Santa Clara, large Estate Planning Sympoium for attorneys and wealth advisors. He has been a key note speaker and covers and covers every type of Trust including AB Qtips, AB Marital Trusts, ILIT's, Dynasty Trusts, CRUT's, etc. He also presented on different entity structures and how to choose the correct one. He has recently started speaking to other wealth advisors so they have a better understanding of what their clients' needs may be. Julia Turney

Julia Turney is our newest Paralegal to join our team. Her background spans over 20 years of legal experience working in the estate planning field. She received her degree with honors in Paralegal studies at West Valley College. She worked the majority of her career as a paralegal for an estate planning attorney in the bay area up until his retirement in 2019. Julia has lived in the San Jose area her entire life and understands the unique needs and concerns of people living in the bay area. She is an active chapter member of Dining for Women, which is an organization to help empower women and children in impoverished areas of the world. When not assisting clients with their estate planning needs, Julia enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.

Kevin L. Jentes

Attorney Kevin L. Jentes, studied at the University of San Francisco and graduated summa cum laude with his B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in legal studies in 2006. From there Mr. Jentes received a paralegal degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007. Mr. Jentes then went on to receive his J.D. in law from Golden Gate School of Law in 2014. During law school, Mr. Jentes was the recipient of a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in S.E.C. Regulations, and a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Appellate Advocacy. Mr. Jentes also worked full-time as a paralegal at a mid-sized plaintiff litigation firm in Marin County while attending law school at night. After graduating law school, Mr. Jentes began working with an Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Probate firm in Palo Alto. Kevin is passionate about the law and finding creative ways to help people solve problems and plan for the future.Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys spending his free time with his family. Kevin is an avid surfer, so most weekends you will find him at a beach in Santa Cruz or at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Practice Areas: Estate Planning

Kim Landucci

Kimberly is a polite, friendly and extremely capable receptionist and administrative assistant to the firm administrator, Mary Doyen. She is the ‘front line' of the firm, communicates successfully with all clients and guests, face-to-face and over the phone. Like Mary, she strives to ensure the firm runs smoothly so the attorneys can give their best to their clients. Kimberly has a bachelor's degree from UC Davis and has worked several years in both billing and administrative positions prior to WealthPLAN. She is an avid reader, gamer, and enjoys cooking for her friends during her free time.

Sarah Hoppe

Paralegal Sarah Hoppe has been a paralegal with WealthPLAN for over six years and her focus is trust administration and probate. Born and raised in San Jose, Sarah is an alumni of Presentation High School and San Jose State University. WealthPLAN inspired Sarah to become a notary and to also continue her education at West Valley College's ABA Approved Paralegal Program which she received her paralegal certificate in Spring 2017. Prior to joining WealthPLAN, Sarah was a legal and executive assistant at Trina Solar, an international solar company. She worked closely with Trina Solar's legal counsel which incited her desire to fully immerse herself into the legal field. When Sarah is not helping clients, she is spending time with her family and large array of friends. Sarah loves to travel and celebrate life.
