Anthony Laslovich II

Anthony joined the WET team in March of 2016 as a Project Engineer and has since been promoted to Senior Engineer. Previously, Anthony worked for a heavy civil contractor managing large dam rehabilitation, sanitary sewer, water distribution, steam utility, storm drain, grading, HDPE pond lining, waste water treatment, odor control, mass excavation and structural concrete projects. At WET Anthony works on civil and environmental engineering projects including stormwater and sanitary infrastructure design, pressurized system design, remediation and construction oversight. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering - Civil Option from Montana Tech in 2009. He also graduated with a Master of Science degree in General Engineering - Civil Option from Montana Tech in 2010. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Montana.

Bill Henne

Bill joined the WET team in February 2018 as a senior hydrogeological engineer providing project management and technical expertise to a diverse range of hydrogeologic and hydrologic tasks throughout all phases of projects that include aspects of groundwater, surface water, geology, and geochemistry. Working in the environmental field since 2000, the full spectrum of tasks completed include field hydrogeological and hydrological activities, environmental engineering experience in water and wastewater operations (including facilities operator at a CERCLA water treatment plant), environmental permitting, aquifer testing, groundwater modeling, remediation and bioremediation at environmental and mine reclamation operations, and construction oversight. Bill's experience also includes public water supply compliance, floodplain compliance, mapping, and engineering, fiber network design, Phase I assessments, subdivision permitting and nondegradation compliance reports, aquifer evaluations, water rights, storm water hydrologic analyses, and associated report writing. Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering in 2003 and his Master of Science degree in Hydrogeological Engineering in 2011, both from Montana Tech. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Washington.

Bonnie Brown

Bonnie joined the WET Team in September of 2014. She started as an administrative assistance, which included document and report preparation, contract compliance, and various accounting services. As of 2017, Bonnie took on accounting duties and now has the title of Staff Accountant. Bonnie has over 10 years of administrative/customer service experience.

Brad Rutherford

Brad Rutherford joined the WET team in April 2017 as a GIS/Geophysical Engineer. Previously he worked as a geophysical intern in Billings, MT and as a visiting professor at Montana Tech. He has experience in leading geophysical surveys and analyzing geophysical data. Since Joining WET, Brad has worked on creating functional maps using ArcGIS software and assisted in the field with GIS data collection. Brad received his B.S. in Physics from Abilene Christian University in 2011 and is currently completing his M.S. in Geophysics from Montana Tech where his research is focused on the structural geology of northwestern Montana.

Brie Meyer

Brie joined the WET team in March of 2021 to support risk assessment and safety & health aspects of projects. Before joining WET, Brie worked as a contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE), managing the safety & health and industrial hygiene programs that were implemented at sites across the US where radiological cleanup activities were performed and long-term environmental monitoring is conducted. She provided expertise on evaluating both safety and health hazards and implementing appropriate hazard controls for work performed at these sites. Brie also worked for a private environmental consulting firm for 15 years, serving as their human health risk assessor to support the remedial investigation/feasibility study process at various Superfund and DOE sites; she also served as the company's industrial hygienist and performed exposure monitoring for field staff performing environmental remediation work. Brie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech in 2004. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene from Montana Tech in 2007. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (certificate #10188 CP) through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.

Britt Siddoway

Britt joined the WET team in May of 2010. Previously, Britt worked part-time as a WET engineering intern from May 2009 to May 2010 while attending graduate school at Montana Tech in Butte, MT. Britt has experience in both environmental and civil engineering projects including: pressurized systems design, storm and sanitary sewers design, road design, landfill permitting, and landfill design. Britt also serves as Project Manager and Senior Engineer for a variety of local projects as well as several environmental permitting projects. Britt has worked extensively with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and has experience in surveying and construction oversight. Britt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech in 2009. He also graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Montana Tech in 2013.

Cathy Reed

Cathy joined WET in 2022. Cathy brings organization, planning, interpersonal relationship skills to any project as her initial career began as Director of Sales and Catering for one of the largest hotel and convention centers in the state of Wyoming. A career change in 2004 to a title and abstract company provided the basis and education to conduct research of public records found in county courthouses with an emphasis on legal document research and chain of title for surface estate. In 2007 she was hired by Aqua Terra Consultants as a land tech and expanded her capabilities to mineral title as well as supporting all areas of estate research to state and federal records, permits, easements and rights-of-way while also maintaining the document files and indexes for digital land management systems. The ability to accurately and comprehensively research and efficiently compile records from all public records sources for easements, rights-of-way, surface, and mineral estate makes Cathy a valuable player on any land services team. Prioritizing a diverse range of tasks, she still maintains deadlines with the ability to work under pressure. Cathy has an Associate of Arts degree in Business (Accounting and Computer Science) from Sheridan Community College.

Chris Matt, Butte native, joined the WET team as a Senior Accountant in late 2018. Working in the accounting field for nearly 30 years, Chris was the Finance Manager for an engineering firm for 20 years, a non-profit accountant for five years, and the Director of Compliance for two years. She also has extensive experience in project accounting. Chris graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance.

Christina Eggensperger joined WET in 2019 as a Staff Environmental Engineer. Christina grew up in Montana and is very passionate about the past, present, and future environmental health of the state. Christina received a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Montana Technological University in 2019. At WET, Christina splits her time between the office and the field, assisting with Phase I reports and site monitoring. She works with groundwater monitoring and sampling, site assessments and reporting, as well as the industrial pretreatment program for the Butte Silver Bow Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Dalton Williams

Dalton joined the WET Team in March of 2016 as a Superfund ICP Specialist with previous experience as an HSE Analyst working in the oil and gas industry. Previously, he worked as an Environmental Engineering Intern for Barrick Gold at the Golden Sunlight Mine. His background includes work in mine wastewater treatment, potable water filtration systems, water testing, and soil sampling with the X-Ray Fluorescence Field Portable device. At WET he works with the implementation of the Interim Institutional Controls Program on the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Superfund Site. Dalton is now a Staff Engineer. Dalton graduated from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. He is a registered Engineer Intern in the state of Oklahoma and Montana.

Dennis Carter

Dennis joined the WET team in July 2019 as a Civil Engineering Technician and has since been promoted to Staff Engineer. He previously worked as a student Hydrologist with the USGS performing stream flow measurements and maintenance of stream gauging equipment across western Montana. He also served for 28 years in The United States Air Force as a Missile Maintenance Supervisor. Dennis has experience performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Project oversight of well abandonment drilling activities, Autodesk Drafting work and is qualified on the Troxler nuclear soil density gauge. He is trained on 40 hour Hazwoper and SWPPP requirements. Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental emphasis from Carroll College in 2019, and an Associates of Applied Science in Missile Maintenance Technology from Community College of the Air Force in 1996.

Deven Vignali

Deven joined the WET team in October 2020 as a Staff Engineer. He has previously worked as an oil and gas exploration and production geologist, a physics professor, a geothermal geochemist/geophysicist, and an environmental and industrial hygiene technician. Deven has experience performing Phase I and II environmental site assessments, magnetotelluric and geochemical geothermal resource investigations, shallow seismic depth to bedrock investigations, asbestos and lead-in-paint investigations, personnel monitoring, and monitoring well development and ground water sampling. Deven earned his Master of Science Degree in Geoscience, Geophysical Engineering emphasis from Montana Tech in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematical Sciences, Secondary Education emphasis from Montana Tech in 2009.

Dylan Livingston

Elizabeth Erickson

Mrs. Erickson serves as Principal Hydrogeologist for WET. She specializes in hydrogeologic investigation and interpretation, geochemical analysis, ground water and surface water modeling, and investigation, remediation and monitoring at ground water contamination sites. She is a licensed Certified Water System Operator in the State of Montana and services multiple water supply systems in that capacity. Elizabeth's experience includes two years as an Exploration Geophysicist with a major oil company, one year as a geophysical consultant, and sixteen years working with hydrogeologic projects in a consulting capacity. Elizabeth's expertise in hydrogeologic modeling using MODFLOW and GMS has gained national recognition. Her ground water model of the Jim Bridger Power Plant in Rock Springs, Wyoming was included at a poster session of the 2001 International Ground Water Modeling Center Conference in Denver. More recently, she has begun 3-D hydrogeologic/geologic visualization modeling using EVS software. She has prepared multiple models using various software packages for litigation purposes. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysical Engineering and her Master of Science degree in Geosciences/Hydrogeology, both from Montana Tech of the University of Montana. Her thesis involved the development of a ground water flow model (MODFLOW, USGS, 1988) simulation of a regional intermontane aquifer to determine pumping effects from ongoing development on ground water availability in an area without centralized sewer and water. She is actively involved in modeling, data interpretation, geochemical evaluation, and site characterization of several power plant sites in Wyoming and Utah and several Superfund sites in Montana.

Erik Ingman

Erik joined the WET team as a project engineer in January of 2016 and now a senior engineer. Prior to joining WET, Erik worked as a Mine Engineer for strip coal mines in Wyoming for 3 years. During his time as a Mine Engineer, Erik worked on reclamation, dragline design, truck shovel design and mine forecasting. After leaving the mines, Erik worked as a Civil Engineer for 1 year. His projects included force main design, subdivision design, runoff and storm water design. At WET, Erik works on civil and environmental projects including stormwater and sanitary infrastructure, pressurized systems design, secondary containment systems, permitting and construction oversight. Erik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering- Civil Option from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in 2011. Forrest Jay

Forrest joined the WET team in July 2012 and has worked in the civil and environmental field since 2005. Forrest has experience working with various private, county, and state projects in Montana, Idaho, and Florida. Since joining WET, Forrest has worked on civil and environmental projects that include stormwater and sanitary infrastructure design, industrial permit compliance, and secondary containment systems. James Kunsman

James joined WET in 2022, but has been working in the consulting industry since 2006 assisting engineers, geologists, land consultants and clients with the preparation of maps and drawings using AutoCAD, Carlson, and ArcGIS software packages. Before joining the consulting industry, James provided field assistance for a petroleum service company, giving him familiarity with drilling and field programs comparable to those implemented by clients. James assists in the design and drafting of all types of maps and drawings that are routinely packaged in deliverable products, using his formal training in drafting to utilize the most efficient approaches for AutoCAD design, GIS, and mapping analyses. James has an artistic ability that helps produce drafting products that are easy to understand and routinely complimented by clients. James assists with quality control to help determine drafting standards for consistency. He also assists in preparing data, tables and plots for reports and project deliverables. James has an Associate of Applied Science degree in drafting from Northern Wyoming Community College.

She is responsible for the financial statements, accounts receivables, account payables, invoicing, management reporting, payroll preparation and reporting, and implementing financial policies and procedures. Janet graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Montana.

Jay Slocum

Jay has been a Wildlife Biologist and a GIS Specialist with WET since 2009. He has experience working throughout the Intermountain West conducting a variety of biological studies involving terrestrial wildlife, avian and plant species. In particular, Jay has extensive experience with avian and mammalian species in shrub-steppe ecosystems. Having conducted studies for USFWS-special status species and BLM-sensitive species affected by large scale oil and gas and wind energy development, he is knowledgeable with federal and state wildlife guidelines, laws and timing stipulations. Jay is experienced in implementing environmental evaluations on large-scale and logistically complex EIS's and EA's, as well as narrow scoped site-specific construction projects. He is highly proficient using GPS and mobile GIS applications to collect data and is an experienced user of ArcGIS for creating, managing spatial data and producing high quality maps. Jay graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology with an emphasis on Terrestrial Biology in 2005.

Jeff LeProwse

Jeff works as a GIS Manager with the WET team. He is responsible for building, maintaining and archiving our GIS database. He is also responsible for map production and creating datasets and functional maps using ArcGIS software. Jeff has developed commercial GPS/GIS applications, HydroPlus GIS and In-Situ multi-parameter water quality instruments, which was awarded 1st place in the ESRI's ArcPad challenge, and in 2003 developed a Data Dictionary converter which seamlessly converts Trimble's data dictionaries to an ESRI ArcPad data collection form. In 2004 he co-developed DataLink GIS, a stand alone data processing application that automatically maintains GIS/GPS data from multiple field devices into a standard directory structure on a host PC. Jeff has received certifications in the following areas: Trimble Technical Support Provider; ESRI ArcPad Application Developer; Extending ArcGIS Desktop Applications. Jeff received his Associate of Applied Science, GIS/GPS degree from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in 2001.

Jenny Stephens

Jenny Stephens was hired in May 2017 as an Assistant in the Community Protective Measures Program. Jenny ‘s previous experience includes working as a Correctional Officer, Administrative Support and Probation and Parole Officer with the Department of Corrections. She enjoys working with her hands and brings carpentry skills to the CPMP program. Jenny will work with the community on the Soil Swap program, building raised beds, and providing the community with information on reducing site exposure risks.

Joe Gerlach

Joe joined the WET team in 2022 and served as co-founder and, from 1991 through 2021, former president of Aqua Terra Consultants, Inc. of Sheridan, Wyoming. Joe's career has focused primarily on conducting groundwater investigations for the coal, uranium, trona and bentonite mining industries of Wyoming and Montana. His experience in conducting groundwater studies began as a coal mining company employee prior to passage of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977. For over 45 years, Mr. Gerlach has worked with mines and other industrial facilities to identify and characterize groundwater resources, to construct and hydraulically test wells intended to supply specific industrial needs, and to design mining operations that minimize groundwater impacts, and which minimize water pumping and treatment costs. Mr. Gerlach has acted as Senior Hydrogeologist conducting pre-mining hydrologic investigations and probable hydrologic impact assessments at nearly all major surface coal mines operating in Wyoming and Montana. Joe has designed, overseen the construction of and hydraulically tested wells monitoring mine backfill for the purposes of verifying post-mining groundwater recovery, quality and hydraulic characteristics. He has also provided professional services identifying potential groundwater development options, probable well depths and water quality and well construction costs for non-coal industrial developments and private ranches in Wyoming and Montana. Joe currently serves as Senior Consultant for WET. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Miami University of Ohio and his Master of Science in Geology from South Dakota School of Mine and Technology. Joe is a registered Professional Geologist in the state of Wyoming.

John Carstensen

John Carstensen is a Senior Engineer with WET providing project management and technical expertise to a wide range of projects from water resources to environmental remediation to surface mining hydrology. John joined the WET team in the Bozeman office in 2017 following the merger with Nicklin Earth and Water. He specializes in the evaluation of natural hydrologic resources to support permitting and the hydraulics of water conveyance systems. He has conducted and supervised environmental data collection programs including soils, and ground and surface water sampling. He has performed investigations to assess environmental damage to natural resources, and designed and operated systems to contain and remediate impacted environmental media. John has substantial experience with the development of water rights applications. He uses computer software to model surface runoff and erosion, open channel flow, pipe networks, water quality and CADD and GIS to evaluate and report environmental data. John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Montana State University. He is a Montana registered Professional Engineer (9545 PE).

Mike joined WET in 2022. He is a lifelong Wyoming resident and grew up on a small family ranch near the historic coal mining town of Acme. Early on, Mike developed and continues to maintain a strong interest in the responsible and beneficial use of land and water for industry, energy, mining, agriculture, wildlife, and recreation. He has worked continuously throughout his 36-year career in environmental technical support and consulting roles, primarily as a project manager. Mike's work experience extends throughout Wyoming and southeastern Montana. Over the years, Mike has been responsible for the implementation, evaluation, reporting, and defense of numerous groundwater and surface water monitoring programs tailored to baseline, operational, and reclamation phases of surface coal mining. Mike also has provided hydrologic monitoring services, data evaluations, and reports for chemical plants, aggregate mines, municipal landfills, and in response to the release of inorganic and organic contaminants. Mike has provided coal mining clients long-term monitoring, reporting, and consulting services for NPDES and stormwater compliance, and has been the designated signatory for several operations with major discharge permits. His field and project management experience extends into many other aspects of environmental and coal mine permitting, including the planning, implementation, and reporting of studies for baseline geology and hydrology, probable hydrologic consequences, and alluvial valley floors, mine closure, and bond release actions. Mike makes it a point to work closely with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory personnel to ensure successful outcomes. Mike graduated from University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology.

Tiffany joined WET in 2022. Tiffany has been an environmental consultant for the last twenty-one years in Sheridan, Wyoming. She is an animal lover, rancher's wife, and a mother of two who pursued a career conserving and protecting the land, water, and air she grew up on. She is an outdoors enthusiast, enjoys the open space of the ranch and the Big Horn Mountains. She has spent the last two decades monitoring and reporting the environmental surroundings in hopes to preserve her home. Her career primarily consists of air, meteorological, and water monitoring and reporting. Through her environmental services and hydrology consulting, Tiffany has gained valuable experience in data acquisition and management. She has also assisted in land record research.
