in many ways the above represents the "short list." as you view the pictures of the wells gray, perhaps the most important part of the reconstruction project will be apparent. i feel it is in the quality of craftsmanship and materials being brought together with considerable thoughtfulness. maybe it is just a matter of loving one's work and doing each and every detail as well and as exacting as possible. I've had the great privilege of working alongside shipwrights and mechanical experts who feel just that way. it has been a joy to do so.
