Colin Sweeney

As Facilities Maintenance Manager, Colin looks after the maintenance side of the business within WFL, our maintenance client's and their requests however big or small. Skilled in electrical design, project management and IOT installations and commissioning, Colin is a strong operations professional with experience in the commercial office fit out, industrial, healthcare and cleanroom sectors of the industry.

Derek Murphy

Bio Derek Murphy is a Director and Co -Owner of the company. Overseeing all construction, BIM and engineering operations, Derek's aim is to achieve an excellent engineering solution and installation for our clients. From initial design, coordination, construction and to handover Derek has a massive appetite for improving the quality and service provided by the entire WFL team. Derek's passion for client satisfaction is infectious and he always ensures that WFL's strong reputation in the market place is upheld and exceeded. Derek started his career with WFL as an apprentice electrician in 1999 after completing one year full time of DIT's Building Services Engineering course. Derek made the choice to serve his time as an apprentice electrician and completed his degree part time while serving his apprenticeship which he achieved in 2003. Derek qualified as an electrician with WFL and then moved into the office as a junior estimator, working his way up to project manager, then contracts manager and then in 2010 became a shareholding director. With an in-depth knowledge of engineering systems Derek is a key person within WFL.

Kevin Daly

  • Procurement Officer
Bio Kevin is a degree qualified engineer who is responsible for the procurement of all day to day items for the business. Kevin previously worked as an engineer for an EV Charging business in the industry and joined WFL in 2018 in the role of project coordinator. While working in this role Kevin was involved in every aspect of project coordination and quickly adapted an appetite for the procurement element of the role. Kevin was then promoted to procurement officer for the business and reports directly into the Commercial Manager of the business.

Mike Farrell

  • Company 's Managing Director and Co - Owner
Bio Mike Farrell is the company's Managing Director and Co - owner and is tasked with developing the business in line with the Director's strategic vision. Mike joined the business in 2009 as a shareholding director. Mike studied Business in Trinity College and subsequently , qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Mike's key focus is to drive the business forward, in line with the core values and business plan for WFL and to lead WFL into the future.

Warren Lynch

Job Titles:
  • Commercial Manager
Bio Warren commenced his career with WFL in the role of maintenance coordinator after receiving his Honours Degree in Accounting from NUI Maynooth. Continuing his education at night, studying to be become a Chartered Accountant, Warren quickly progressed into the role of Procurement Officer and then Procurement Manager of the business through the companies internship programme. Warren qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) in 2019, and was promoted to Commercial Manager of the business with the overall responsibility for all commercial aspects of the business. Warren is an extremely driven individual and contributes at every level to the success of the business.
