Anthony (Tony) M. Majszak

EXPERTISE: Mr. Majszak has more than 25 years experience as an interim senior operating manager, engineer and engineering manager, and internal process engineering and product development specialist. Mr. Majszak has significant hands-on process engineering experience with significant experience improving operational and financial performance, managing business units and small companies. He has significant experience managing supplier development teams in the automotive sector, driving lean improvements into the supply chain. Mr. Majszak also has extensive experience in Supplier Situation Management containing and resolving high-risk product quality and delivery situations. He has experience bridging shop-floor activities and business performance through the application of lean manufacturing practices and improved manufacturing engineering capabilities.

Douglas Lacy

EXPERTISE: Douglas Lacy has more than 30 years of leadership experience in business transformations and MRP/ERP implementation and reengineering leadership. Mr. Lacy's process engineering background has enabled him to lead facility layout and design projects. His extensive engineering and financial analytical skills have enabled outstanding process improvement results in different manufacturing sectors including automotive parts, glass assemblies, coating and printing operations, and new business startups. Mr. Lacy also has extensive IT and financial experience, having led business turnarounds and implemented MRP/ERP systems in various industries. He has assessed and analyzed business systems data to drive operations toward improved future states. During MRP/ERP system implementations, Mr. Lacy has focused on reviewing and establishing standards for essential transactions and driving remedial action with client teams. He has also taken lead roles in stabilizing information systems and generating useful financial information from otherwise chaotic systems, verifying that financial information reflects a true picture of performance. Mr. Lacy has led improvement teams in transactional areas such as new product development, IT systems, customer service, supply chain, purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, shop floor control, warehouse, and fleet management. Mr. Lacy is a Certified Master Blackbelt and a Certified Advanced Lean Instructor.

Frank K. Murdock

EXPERTISE: Mr. Murdock is a leader at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as the Chair of the Lean Enterprise Division and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He is a process engineering and improvement specialist with over 30 years of experience in automotive, steel processing, aerospace (Space Shuttle) programs, and other industries. Mr. Murdock has developed and redesigned high speed titanium extrusion processes including billet heating, material handling, and hot straightening systems which doubled throughput from the technology it replaced - all part of a significant productivity improvement initiative. He has developed and implemented Six Sigma certification for clients. He is a Master Lean Six Sigma Certified professional with extensive use and team facilitation to resolve quality and cost problems. He has developed world-class process improvement systems based on the techniques of Lean Manufacturing Systems, and has achieved significant increases in productivity through plant floor improvement projects and through facilitating Kaizen team projects.

Greg A. Bryen

Greg Bryen is a senior financial and strategy consultant with the skills and experience to develop and implement creative solutions for transitional business situations. Mr. Bryen's financial and operational experience includes various roles in automotive supplier leadership and consulting roles with clients across many industries. Domestic and international consulting roles include advising distressed organizations as well as financial, operational and other due diligence for industry, private equity and lenders, as well as interim management positions in component supply and heavy vehicle production. Industry positions have included; V.P. Corporate Development (M & A, Strategic Planning), V.P. Finance, CFO, General Management with Profit & Loss responsibility (Divisional V.P. - General Manager and Managing Director and COO of a JV). Mr. Bryen's special expertise in cost accounting and cost structure analysis has benefited clients around the world and in a variety of industries, with a special emphasis on evaluating and taking remedial action with standard costing systems that drive financial reporting systems. He has reviewed, evaluated and enhanced cost reduction plans for a variety of clients and has fulfilled interim roles for companies in various stages of transition. Mr. Bryen also has special expertise in financial and operation due diligence initiatives with an emphasis of uncovering hidden value for clients as well as substantiating financial performance and market opportunities for buyers.

Gunther Krause

EXPERTISE: Mr. Krause is a Senior engineering and program manager with significant global automotive engineering contributions for German and American OEMs, including plant startup experience and experience establishing and testing labor and machine standards in new and on-going operations. He has significant consulting experience for a variety of clients for manufacturing and process engineering and facilities planning and consolidation initiatives. Mr. Krause has project managed assembly line installations globally, requiring understanding of complex relationships of multiple sets of engineering standards as input into line balancing. He has strong experience in tooling development and management, welding systems, machining and assembly operations. He is fluent in German and has extensive experience in Germany and Brazil.

John M. Stewart

John Stewart is a management consultant specializing in supply chain process re-engineering and project management. Mr. Stewart has helped client teams design and implement logistics business processes in a variety of industries including: manufacturing, food, retail, horticultural production, publishing, distribution and third-party logistics. Mr. Stewart's 25 years of industry experience includes hands-on team facilitation and process design as a consultant, line manager and project manager for domestic and international supply chain clients. Mr. Stewart's experience includes: Supply chain network design, including cost and service analysis of inventory, distribution and transportation; Transportation planning and execution to achieve double-digit cost reduction within delivery service parameters; Distribution center design to achieve double-digit improvement in storage and labor productivity through layout optimization; Trade compliance assessment including process design and implementation for import, export and NAFTA; Dedicated fleet outsourcing decision analysis, bid management and implementation.

William (Bill) H. Fetterman

William H. Fetterman has expertise in the interaction of operations and financial management for under-performing businesses. He brings extensive experience in operations, cost analysis and quality improvement initiatives that can help companies improve their profitability. He has assisted clients in understanding cost structures and profitability and has developed plant, product, and customer strategies to restore profitability. Prior to founding Advanced Manufacturing Group, Mr. Fetterman was a Director with Conway MacKenzie & Dunleavy's turnaround consulting practice for seven years. Mr. Fetterman was also a Manager at Plante & Moran in the Management Consulting Services group for five years. Prior to that, Mr. Fetterman worked in a variety of operational roles in the semiconductor industry in Boston, Massachusetts. He has designed and implemented numerous world-class improvement systems, including Lean Manufacturing Systems and initiatives that drive manufacturing efficiency and improve financial performance. Mr. Fetterman is a Certified Quality Engineer through the American Society for Quality; is a Certified Management Accountant through the Institute for Certified Management Accountants; is Certified in Production and Inventory Management by the American Production and Inventory Control Society; and has served as a member of the Michigan Quality Council Board of Examiners. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration with a specialty in Operations Management from Boston University, with honors.
