Caroline Beaumont - COO

Caroline est responsable de la gestion financière, de la comptabilité, de la compliance et des ressources humaines. Caroline Beaumont earned her federal capacity certificate in banking in 1998 at Credit Suisse and André-Chavannes Business School in Geneva. In 2002, after working for three years alongside Credit Suisse asset managers for Swiss clients in Geneva, she became the executive assistant in the Ultra High Net Worth Individuals unit under the responsibility of Serge Pavoncello. During that time, Caroline also completed a two-year program at ISFB in Geneva and obtained the Federal Banking Certificate. She was involved with several working groups and projects within the Ultra High Net Worth Individuals unit related to IT development, administrative organization and staff training. In June 2004, after a language internship in Cambridge, Caroline left Credit Suisse in order to found Wedge Associates SA together with Serge Pavoncello. Recognizing the gravity of a changing regulatory environment and mounting international pressure as early as 2007, she decided to focus on compliance and obtained a Compliance Management Certificate from the University of Geneva in the same year. A member of the board of Wedge Associates SA, Caroline is in charge of the company's operations, accounting, financial management, annual audit and AMLA (Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act) activities. She handles the company's communication, marketing, human resources management and related administrative tasks. She also handles contracts with clients and financial partners. Caroline is in charge of Wedge's financial management, the company's accounting and all compliance and HR related activities. Last but not least, she handles the sale and search of real estate for clients.

Duc Nguyen

Duc supervise l'ensemble des comptes et des investissements, et s'occupe plus particulièrement du choix obligataire, du contrôle des risques et du reporting. Il assiste également dans les choix stratégiques de l'allocation d'avoirs. In 1995, Duc Nguyen completed a one-year internship at Credit Suisse in Geneva as the assistant to the officer in charge of mortgage and corporate clients. Subsequently, he was hired to help restructure the bank's credit department and he obtained a degree in accounting and finance from the University of North London, UK. In 1998, Duc became a discretionary portfolio manager in the Middle East and Asia department at Credit Suisse Private Banking in Geneva and was in charge of Japanese equity selection. On the back of his portfolio management experience, he joined Credit Suisse Luxembourg as an investment advisor co-managing the discretionary accounts of the bank's Ultra High Net Worth clients resident in Switzerland, the Middle East and South America as well as advising active trading customers. In 2004, Duc returned to Geneva to manage a portfolio of special customers in the onshore Ultra High Net Worth unit of Credit Suisse. He served a highly demanding clientele made up of institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises, legal and notary firms, trust companies and private clients. Eager to be totally dedicated to his clients, he joined Wedge Associates SA in 2009 as a portfolio manager. At Wedge, he oversees all accounts and investments and is specifically in charge of instrument selection, risk control and financial reporting. He takes part in strategic asset allocation decisions and is a member of the investment committee. Duc oversees all accounts and investments. He is specifically in charge of securities analysis and selection, risk control and financial reporting. He also takes part in strategic asset allocation decisions.

Laura Paronitti

After graduating from business school in Geneva in 1998, Laura Paronitti started her career at ITM SA, a trust company specializing in the establishment and management of firms, where she was in charge of secretarial work. At this small, three-person company, she quickly acquired a wealth of knowledge in various fields including administration, accounting and logistics. In January 2002, she joined Bemido SA, the family office of a well-known Swiss family. Laura was in charge, among other things, of HR related tasks, the administration of various properties and boats, the administrative management of artworks and the implementation of special projects. Taking on more and more responsibilities over the following years, she also assumed the role of a Human Resources Officer and was put in charge of recruitment, remuneration and annual reviews of about thirty employees. At the end of 2012, Laura decided to further broaden her skills in an already extensive range of complimentary fields and turned to finance when she joined Wedge as a management assistant in 2013. At Wedge Associates SA, she provides administrative support for the asset managers, calculates the performance of investment portfolios, prepares reports and documents for the opening and maintenance of accounts, oversees credit card activities, handles all payments and monitors bank deadlines. She draws on her family office experience to meet the non-banking related demands of private clients, for example managing real estate and other assets, filling out tax declarations, searching for properties and managing insurance policies. As the office manager, Laura sees to the smooth day-to-day running of the Geneva office. With over fifteen years of experience, Laura is more than qualified to attend the family office needs of our private clients. In addition, she provides Wedge's asset managers with the necessary administrative support.

Serge Pavoncello - CEO

En juin 2004, Serge fonde Wedge Associates SA, un Multi Family Office, dont l'objectif premier est de proposer et mettre à disposition de ses clients une gamme de services complets et performants. Serge Pavoncello holds a degree in political economy from the University of Geneva. He began his professional career at UBS in the field of portfolio management, where he held senior positions. He then joined the Private Banking unit for domestic clients of Credit Suisse in Geneva. During these years, he also perfected his academic knowledge by obtaining several renowned and recognized diplomas in the financial field. With the experience he acquired and the professional relationships he developed over almost 20 years, he decided to create Wedge Associates SA in 2004, an independent asset management company whose objective is to treat and monitor demanding international private clients. In June 2004, Serge founded Wedge Associates SA, a Multi Family Office whose primary goal is to offer and make available to its clients a complete and sophisticated range of services.
