Lilleström is a rapidly expanding city north of Oslo. the project is part of a larger urban scheme in the Lilleström city centre developed by Norwegian architectural office Blue Architecture Landscapes and Prof. Knut Eirik Dahl (AHO)... the housing block faces Stortorget (the major public square in Lilleströmm) and consists 94 apartments and two floors of commercial space. the two buildings are joined together by a vertical garden, with a form reminiscent of a Norwegian ravine... the project is currently on detailed regulation plan level, a decision is expected in august/September 2014.
