JAPAN PHARMACEUTICAL LIBRARY

The Japan Pharmaceutical Library Association (JPLA) was established in April 1955 in response to a proposal by Yosoji Ito who was a professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo (and also the JPLA founding president). From its inception, JPLA has consisted of the Pharmaceutical University Library and the Pharmaceutical Company Library.
