But frankly, as we all recognize, anything's possible. And one possible goal could be to give a windfall profitability increase to those companies who are on contract today. Certainly not in the taxpayer's best interests, of course, but ... Another goal could simply be to eliminate social regulation, or mandated social responsibility, and if it reduces costs or increases profitability, then those are side benefits... And yes, the question is admittedly speculative. It's the forecasting of the "considerable workload" that I am interested in and how it might be managed or mitigated.
