WINDHAVEN VETERINARY HOSPITAL - Key Persons
Dr. Kimberly Martin was born in Houston but has lived in North Texas for over 20 years. She pursued her degree in Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University after spending many years as a marketer in the business world. Dr. Martin earned her MBA from the University of Texas and her Bachelor's degree from Baylor University. She has been at Windhaven Veterinary Hospital since 2012 and loves the wonderful relationships she has experienced with pets and clients.
Dr. Martin's passion is working with pets and helping them and their families live happy and healthy lives. But in her free time, Dr. Martin likes to work out, cook new recipes, work in her yard, travel, pop bubble wrap and spend time on patios with good friends.
Dr. Rachel Cummins joined the Windhaven team in 2018. She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas. She grew up in the Dallas area and could not wait to return to Texas.
Dr. Cummins lives with her two cats, Severus Snape and Minerva McGonagall. Severus loves nothing more than to cuddle and eat dinner, while Minerva could probably play fetch for 20 years straight. In Dr. Cummins' free time, she likes to pursue aerial silks, reading and video games.
Dr. DuBose joined the Windhaven team in 2023, soon after graduating veterinary school at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She is from Pensacola, Florida and received her Bachelor degree in Biology at the University of West Florida. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. DuBose had been working in the veterinary field for over six years.
At home, Dr. DuBose has a goofy Goldendoodle named Griffin and a loveable, toothless cat named Flint. They were both her loyal companions throughout her vet school journey.
Outside of work, Dr. DuBose enjoys exploring new areas with Griffin, video and tabletop gaming, and playing the bass guitar.
Dr. Marble graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and joined the staff of Windhaven shortly afterwards. Born in Texas and raised in Colorado, Dr. Marble received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her degree was constructed specifically for her in the Program in the Environment, with concentrations in animal behavior and geographic information systems (GIS).
Dr. Marble lives with her 50-pound, mixed-breed dog, Reese's Pieces who loves tennis balls and her tabby cat, Twiggy​ who loves catnip and snuggling at night.
Outside of work, Dr. Marble enjoys working out, reading, hiking, and backyard BBQ. She looks forward to taking care of your furry babies and building a relationship with you.
