Jeff Flaherty - Founder

Jeff Flaherty founded Wise Home Energy in 2010 and has been making homes energy efficient since 2006. Prior to starting Wise, Jeff was a Senior Program Coordinator with Honeywell managing over 20 Home Performance Contractors. With Building Performance Institute certifications including; Analyst, Envelope, Heating, Manufactured and Multifamily, Jeff is an industry leader in all types of structures. Wise Home Energy was founded in 2010 by BPI-certified home performance expert Jeff Flaherty. Servicing homeowners in the Rochester, NY area, Wise Home Energy has become one of the most well-known, appreciated building performance companies in Monroe County. Jeff and his team hold a collective wealth of knowledge and experience dealing with the finer points of building science, and Wise Home Energy is a proud recipient of the 2011 "Outstanding Contractor" award from NYSERDA.

Kirk Geising

Kirk joined Wise Home Energy in 2018. Kirk has over 15 years' experience in residential construction and home performance. He spent 9 years working in weatherization in Wyoming County. Kirks experience has lead him to become an asset to the Wise Home Energy team.

Mike Maher

Mike started with Wise Home Energy in 2011 and has worked in quality control for 20+ years. As a licensed Home Inspector, he has valuable experience in all areas of a home. His focus on quality control is an asset to Wise Home Energy's final products.

Ryan Puckett

Ryan has been with Wise Home Energy since 2012. Prior to joining Wise, Ryan interned as a Solar PV designer while achieving his undergrad degree in environmental sciences. Throughout his studies Ryan developed a passion for creating healthy, sustainable and energy efficient buildings. He hopes to one day make his own home carbon neutral and enjoys helping his clients improve their comfort.
