James E. Norman

James Norman is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of North Carolina and is a Partner of Williams Appraisers, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina (www.williamsappraisers.com). Since joining Williams Appraisers in March 2004, he has conducted research and assisted in the preparation of and performed appraisals of properties including office, retail, industrial, townhome and subdivision analysis, and vacant land. In addition, James has consulted on and prepared appraisals for tax purposes, eminent domain/condemnation litigation, divorce disputes, and conservation easements. James graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's of Arts, in Political Science, in 2000. Prior to that, James was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout form Boy Scouts of America, Troop 555 in December, 1992. Additionally, James is a member of the North Carolina Professional Appraisers Coalition and a General Associate member of the Appraisal Institute.

Jessica L. Hartye

Jessica L. Hartye is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of North Carolina. Jessica has been involved in the appraisal of real estate since 2004. She began her trainee experience at Hester & Company in March of 2004 and came to Williams Appraisers, Inc. in November of 2006. Her experience appraising includes all types of commercial properties including office, retail, warehouse and industrial, institutional, apartments, townhome and subdivision analysis, special use properties and vacant land. In addition to her appraisal background, Jessica has several years of experience in finances and bookkeeping for other real estate companies and partnerships. Jessica graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Business Management with a concentration in Finance, in 2003. Jessica graduated as a University Scholar with a Suma Cum Laude designation and was a candidate for valedictorian in her graduating class. Jessica is a native of Louisville, Ky.

John McBrayer

John McBrayer is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of North Carolina and the Principal of Williams Appraisers, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina (www.williamsappraisers.com). In addition to North Carolina, John is certified to appraise in South Carolina. Since joining Williams Appraisers in 2002, he has appraised a wide variety of properties for institutional lenders, government entities and individuals in the Triangle and throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia including office, retail, warehouse and industrial, hotel/motel, townhome and subdivision analysis, special use properties and vacant land. He has also prepared feasibility and impact studies for various property types, including hotel/motel, mixed-use development and environmentally contaminated properties. In addition to traditional appraisal and consulting services, Williams Appraisers, Inc. provides appraisal services in real estate tax appeals, divorce and family disputes, donation of conservation easements, bankruptcy and other real estate-related arbitrations and mediations. John has been qualified as an expert witness for real estate in several North Carolina and Federal courts for litigation services. A graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor's of Science in Economics, John began his career in commercial and residential real estate with Century Development and Jones Lang Wootton, USA (now Jones Lang LaSalle) in Houston, Texas and later as a principal of Coldwell Banker GSM Realty in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He has held real estate licenses in Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina. He is a General Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute.

Lindsay K. Howes

Lindsay Howes is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of North Carolina. Since joining Williams Appraisers in 2007, she has appraised a wide variety of properties for institutional lenders and individuals in the Triangle area including office, retail, warehouse and industrial, townhome and subdivision analysis, special use properties, and vacant land. A graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and Finance concentration, Lindsay began her career in commercial real estate appraisal as a Registered Trainee with Williams Appraisers in 2007. Previously she enjoyed a career in Financial Services with Merrill Lynch and Banc of America Investments. She is also a licensed residential Real Estate Broker in the state of North Carolina and a General Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute.

Michael H. Stewart

Michael Stewart is a Certified General Appraiser. His experience includes the appraisal of all types of properties including office, retail, warehouse and industrial, special use, multi and single-family residential, historical, vacant land, litigation study, feasibility study and rent study analysis. He is also certified as an Ad Valorem Real Property Appraiser, an Ad Valorem Personal Property Appraiser and an NC County Assessor by the North Carolina Department of Revenue. A graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor's of Science in Geology, Michael has worked in residential and commercial real estate appraisal and assessment since 1990. He was the Appraisal Manager for Harnett and Lee Counties in North Carolina from 1990 until joining Williams Appraisers in 2003.

Robert A. Maceda

Robert A. Maceda is a Registered Appraiser Trainee in the State of North Carolina. He has been involved in the appraisal of real estate since 2009 and his experience appraising includes all types of commercial properties including office, retail, multi-family, warehouse and industrial, institutional, apartments, townhome and subdivision analysis, special use properties and vacant land. In addition to his appraisal background, Bob has several years of experience in underwriting commercial real estate loans. Bob graduated from Robert Morris University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 2005.
