Jack K. Whitehead Jr.

Jack K. Whitehead Jr. is the founder of the Whitehead Law firm. He has practiced law for twenty-six (26) years. Mr. Whitehead has an "AV" rating under the Martindale-Hubbel attorney rating system, which is the highest possible rating. His peers recently nominated him to Stanford's Who's Who. "People turn to me because of my passion. I do what I love to do." Mr. Whitehead volunteers his time to the legal profession as a Member of the House of Delegates, Board of Governors and the Executive Committee. He recently served as LSBA Treasurer and continues to serve the profession on various committees. His peers chose him as a delegate to the American Bar Association for the 2012-2014 term.

John-Ed L. Bishop

Mr. Bishop's serves as a senior associate attorney with Whitehead Law Firm. His principal areas of practice are federal sector employment, employment discrimination, construction, adversarial bankruptcy, and appellate court review. Mr. Bishop has served as the trial attorney for hearings and arbitrations throughout the United States. He also assists in mentoring associates at the firm. Mr. Bishop entered the legal profession after 7 years of management, training and auditing in banking and gaming institutions. He applies his wealth of financial and business acumen in developing real world solutions to employees' and business clients' difficulties. A proven leader in both his personal and business life, Mr. Bishop served 13 years with the Louisiana National Guard as a decorated Sergeant. His decorations include the Louisiana War Cross, Humanitarian Service Medal, 4 instances of the Army Achievement Medal, and most recently Mr. Bishop and his mother, a Korean War Veteran, received the Louisiana Veterans' Honor Medal from Governor Bobby Jindal. During his military service, Sgt. Bishop was deployed to Honduras for hurricane relief and in 2003 served in the Iraqi theater with the 1086th Transportation Company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While a law student, John-Ed was involved with the LSU, Paul M. Hebert Law Center Trial Advocacy teams and participated in numerous National Competitions. He was named the Top Novice Advocate for the Fall Semester in 2006. He served on the Trial Advocacy Board and was elected as Treasurer for the 2007-2008 school year. In 2007 John-Ed was chosen for the Louisiana Attorney General's Summer Fellowship Program where he worked with the Public Bid Contract Section and Gaming Sections.

Richard Biedenharn

Richard Biedenharn joined the firm as of counsel in 2016 after a thirty year career managing over multi-million dollar commercial and residential real estate projects, timber interests across the Deep South, oil and gas production/exploration projects throughout Louisiana and Texas. He serves as counsel to manufacturing interests and commercial business enterprises.

William J. Wilson

William J. Wilson serves as an associate attorney with Whitehead Law Firm. William comes to Whitehead Law Firm with nearly ten years of experience in professional licensing. His principal areas of practice are federal sector employment, administrative law, and professional licensure. Prior to joining the Whitehead Law Firm, Mr. Wilson spent nine years as an investigator with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. While earning his law degree and continuing his full time job, Mr. Wilson also held an externship with the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board. Mr. Wilson has been published in numerous journals, including the Journal of Nursing Regulation and the Criminal Law Journal of the State Bar of California. Mr. Wilson has also contributed to position papers concerning national licensure enforcement. In addition, Mr. Wilson has lectured on Professional Licensing issues at national conferences. Mr. Wilson has served on multiple committees for various national licensure enforcement and regulation organizations, including serving as Vice Chair of the Compliance & Discipline Subcommittee for the Council of Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation. As an associate with Whitehead Law Firm, William J. Wilson has participated in arbitrations throughout the United States. With his federal sector experience, Mr. Wilson can effectively counsel and assist employees and labor organizations with disciplinary, contractual, or other issues. With his experience as an investigator for the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, Mr. Wilson effectively guides clients through all phases of administrative investigations, from initial contact by investigators to the hearing's completion. Mr. Wilson has both the experience and the credentials necessary to successfully represent holders of many professional and occupational licenses including Nurses, Doctors, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and others, before state licensing boards in Louisiana. While a law student, William was an editor for the Southern University Law Center Law Review. In addition, he served as Co-Director of Veterans Advocacy Initiative for the ABA Law Student Division from 2012 to 2013. William also received CALI Awards in Advanced Legal Writing and Analysis, Constitutional Law II, and Legal Writing II and Oral Advocacy.
