Job Titles:
  • Personal Injury Attorney
Intro: Amanda Lowe joined Wettermark Keith in early 2022 to serve as an associate attorney for our Knoxville personal injury department, handling pre-litigation. With her talent for service and compassionate perspective, Amanda is a seasoned legal professional and an asset to our clients. Background: Born and raised in the historic town of Powell, Tennessee, Amanda graduated from Powell High School in 1998. Following her enthusiasm for the written word, she graduated with a BA in English from University of Tennessee at Martin in 2002. Amanda's desire to work with those in need led her to study law at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she graduated with her J.D. Immediately after law school, Amanda worked as a prosecutor for the Tennessee District Attorney, where she gained a wealth of experience in a variety of practice areas. She worked for several different firms before starting at Wettermark Keith, handling everything from personal injury to worker's compensation cases to family law. This diverse background has provided Amanda with a unique perspective on the law, helping her to better understand the complexities of the legal system and its impact on people's lives. Amanda's "Why": Amanda's passion for law stems directly from her love for people. Throughout her career, she has always enjoyed working with people in dire need of legal representation, guiding them through unfamiliar processes and territory and empowering them in situations that they did not choose or create. Amber Osborne

Job Titles:
  • Attorney and Veterans Disability Practice Manager
Intro: Amber has been a part of the Wettermark Keith family for over 12 years and currently serves as an Attorney and our Veterans Disability Practice Manager. She is accredited by the Veterans Administration to represent veterans in claims for benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs. The VA Disability practice focuses on assisting veterans in appeals for service-connected compensation. Amber is involved in every case from its inception to its end. Amber took on her first Veterans Disability case in 2014 (the very first VA case in the history of the firm) and won, and the rest is history. Ever since, Amber has been focusing on expanding the practice area while also being involved in the Social Security Disability Practice. By February 2022, the VA practice had taken on a life of its own, and Amber was called to devote her attention solely to managing the VA practice. Background: Prior to her career at Wettermark Keith, Amber graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in English and a minor in General Business. During college, she worked various jobs to help pay her rent and tuition. After graduation, Amber began working full time for Regions Bank during the day and attending law school at Birmingham School of Law in the evenings. While working at Regions, she was recruited by the Social Security Administration to join the agency as a claims representative. It was there that Amber found she had a passion for working with the disabled, but she felt what she was doing wasn't enough. It became clear to her that the agency was not acting in the best interest of these individuals. She began to realize she would be in a better position to help them elsewhere...a place where someone was actually representing their interests...a law firm, perhaps? Amber joined Wettermark Keith as a Social Security Disability case manager in 2010 and never looked back. She worked as a case manager until completing law school at the Birmingham School of Law and being admitted to the Alabama Bar in September 2012. Amber's "Why": Amber is familiar with the frustration, confusion and angst that arises from dealing with government agencies, especially when it comes to claims for certain benefits. Amber finds helping to ease some of that burden one of the most rewarding aspects of her job. What Amber enjoys the most is having the opportunity to benefit people who are struggling. She loves seeing the positive impact in her clients' lives. She takes pride in helping those who have served our country and striving to grant what is owed to them for sacrifices they have made. She truly believes she has found her calling.
