Welcome! I am John Burdick and I want to be your kitchen designer. I am here to help you create the kitchen of your dreams, and to do that I have created a 45 minutes series of videos to provide you with the information you need to get started... With so much available on the web and TV, it is often difficult to know where to begin. Here is the basic information you need to know, and that I try to provide by clarifying the design process... After the Welcome video, I start with a discussion of basic cabinet construction; explaining types of cabinetry, materials used, the construction of doors, drawers and runner systems, and various finish options. This all helps you understand what you are looking at when you shop for cabinetry.
