Chris has been selected for membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates and is a Fellow of the ABOTA Foundation. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by both the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. After graduating from DeLand High School in DeLand, Florida, Jennifer received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida. She has litigated hundreds of matters in the arenas of commercial litigation, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, wrongful death, premises liability, and construction law. Jennifer is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of American Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Born and raised in Tampa, Jody graduated from Jesuit High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 1998 and his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2001. He defends matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, trucking and automobile accident liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice.
Jody is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Florida and all state and federal Courts within the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Jody is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. Jody served on the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and was past Chairman. He currently serves as a Florida Bar Fee Arbitrator.
Megan was born and raised in Tampa and attended the International Baccalaureate program at C. Leon King High School. She graduated, cum laude, from the University of Florida, where she served as a research assistant to the Dean of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, participating in various clinical studies throughout rural north Florida. Megan then received her law degree from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Amy Williams of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, assisting primarily with appeals from County Court.
Megan is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Megan obtained her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2020. Megan received the William F. Blews Award and was recognized for completing the JD/MBA program. While in law school Megan was also involved in Phi Alpha Delta honor society, the Hispanic Bar Association, Pinellas County Florida Association of Woman Lawyers, and the Insurance Law Association.
Prior to law school, Megan attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida, on a Presidential Scholarship, graduating with her BBA in International Business and minor in Spanish. Megan is originally from Cancun, Mexico, but was raised in Houston, Texas, and has lived in Florida since moving here for her undergraduate studies. She currently resides in St. Petersburg with her husband and son.
Prior to working in our firm, Megan volunteered at GulfCoast Legal Clinic in their tax division and was a Summer Associate for Moyer Law Group.
In her free time, Megan loves spending time outdoors; traveling; taking part in local art and cultural activities; and enjoying Tampa Bay's restaurants. Megan volunteers at the Boys and Girls Club and The Kind Mouse.
Megan is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the HBCA's Young Lawyers Division.
After graduating from Asheville School in Asheville, North Carolina, Paul attended Wake Forest University, graduating with a degree in English. After a brief banking career, Paul entered law school and received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Paul served as a judicial intern with Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He also won first place in the Stetson Mock Trial Competition and the Stetson Closing Arguments Competition.
Paul is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute. Phil is a civil trial lawyer who brings decades of litigation experience to the firm. Phil's practice includes matters related to general civil litigation, railroad law, personal injury, nursing home litigation, wills and trusts, and insurance defense. In private practice for more than 15 years, Phil has also served as in-house counsel for Allstate Insurance Company and CNA Insurance Company, handling personal injury, wrongful death, dental malpractice, and property damage claims.
Phil grew up in Warren, Ohio, and attended the University of Michigan on an athletic scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He then attended the University of Dayton School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor degree. Phil served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and acted as staff counsel with the Office of Personnel Management in Washington, D.C., before relocating to Florida.
Phil is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, as well as the United States Southern and Middle District Courts of Florida. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Ryan received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. He graduated, cum laude, from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise and sport sciences.
Before joining the firm, Ryan was a partner at a large, national insurance defense firm, where he was a member of the firm's professional liability defense practice and focused in the areas of long term care and medical malpractice defense litigation. Additionally, he spoke on risk management and documentation and frequently provided in-service training for clients on issues of documentation, risk exposure, and other requested topics. Ryan previously served as an assistant state attorney with the Pinellas County State Attorney's Office in Clearwater, Florida. From 2004 - 2010, he handled an extensive caseload of misdemeanor and felony cases, including more than 50 trials as first chair attorney. He also handled and attended Baker Act hearings and supervised local ordinance violations.

Scott was born and raised in Sarasota, attending Pine View School in Osprey before moving to Asheville, North Carolina, where he graduated from Asheville School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern, Shepard Broad College of Law. Throughout college and law school Scott spent his summers clerking for his father's law practice in Sarasota.
Before joining the firm, Scott worked at a large, state-wide insurance defense firm handling a broad variety of matters throughout Florida. He has defended cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury protection, class action, and coverage disputes. Scott also has significant experience successfully defending cases involving controversial and unnecessary medical treatments, and challenging excessive medical bills.
Scott has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2008 and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.

Troy grew up in Franklin, Tennessee and moved to Tampa to attend school at the University of Tampa, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at the University of Tampa, Troy served as the Vice President of Student Government and had an internship with a major lobbying firm in Washington, D.C.
Troy is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson Law, Troy served as an extern to the Honorable Amy Williams of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, assisting with appeals from country court.
