We observed that many patients and their families were left alone to figure out how to deal with these changes, usually during a highly emotional and vulnerable time. People often rushed their decisions, relying on individuals without the proper professional knowledge, spending unnecessary money and ending up with less than optimal solutions. Patients and caregivers need good, unbiased advice on the best products and service providers in order to make a smooth, safe transition home. We created Zero Barriers to fill that void...
