Colin E Brown

Dr. Brown was born in Rapid City and raised in Pierre. He realized his passion for ocular surgery while he was employed by the South Dakota Lions Eye & Tissue Bank when he was an undergraduate at South Dakota State University, earning a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences. This led him on an educational path across the country to study ophthalmology: Medical degree from the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota Internal medicine internship at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE Ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE Fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston Dr. Brown's focus is in corneal disease, cataract surgery and refractive vision correction surgeries, such as LASIK.

Lauren received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 2014 and later completed her Master's degree in 2019 from South Dakota State University, becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She has been with Wright Vision Center since 2014 when she started as a nurse in the surgery center. Lauren is licensed with the

I am happy to return back to South Dakota after working at the Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center for many years. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my kids, running, snow sports and making and enjoying music!
