Rosemary Watkins

Job Titles:
  • Supervisor
  • Trainer
  • Training Staff
Rosemary Watkins is an experienced therapist, trainer, supervisor and group facilitator; she holds a Master's Degree in Human Services, a Graduate Diploma in counselling and has extensive training in Couple and Family Therapy. Loss and grief is a main focus of the service she offers in addition to couples counselling. Rosemary believes that loss underpins much of why people seek support. People believe that they might become a burden to family and friends, or that friends may not like them or want to spend time with them when they are not their usual happy selves. Grief is an inevitable and understandable response to the sense of loss. Some of the losses people experience as they move through life include: loss of health, loss of mobility, loss of loved ones through death or divorce, loss of the enjoyable relationship they once had with someone, loss of the vision of family they once held, or even a sense of a loss of self and loss of real joy in living.
